Yeah that's Japans strategy always to tire out the other team and just scrape in one goal near the end. Japan had such a solid defense and their possession is great too, was around 68% this game I think. Australia's best bet would've been 0-0 and penalties but Japan wore them out by the end.

I am a "behind my team all the way until the bitter end" kinda girl Raph, and you can't tell me otherwise

Plus, there is a lot to be said for home field advantage (I hope:fc: )

I'm confused, I never said for you to support Japan? I'm just looking at it objectively. But totally! Canada being the home team having the supporters and just generally being more acclaimed to the environment will definitely be a plus to them. All they need to do is come up with a viable strategy to compete with Japan's barrier of a defense.

I kinda want the UK to win though just cause itd make me sad if Japan was the reason Canada was eliminated, or vice versa.
