Do you think 1.6m tonight? I think 1.4 +1 is more realistic but I hope I'm wrong.

I'm not sure TBH, it's on at 9pm, not much competition apart from a new ITV drama but that might not rate high.

A new game show on BBC2 that will probably flop. Marigold film on CH4 and drama on BBC One.

But tbh it should do decent as this is the first show were we won't see some of what we've already seen.

Friday and Sat we saw repeats of what we already saw.

About 2 minutes of what we've already seen - the rest of it was unseen footage.

Has there been any ratings for the live feed on 5*?

Will. 30-08-2015 03:26 PM

yeah I know it was like 2 mins but viewers tend to think it's a repeat, but its not.

No, oh wait we got one I think, it was like 480k?

That was for the feed on the main channel.

yeah I thought so, not sure then.

Quick note that the share for last night was higher than 1.2 Saturday last year, and the CBB14 rating is with +1 share.

So like the XF is getting lower ratings but same/higher share.

I think Winter CBB will always be good/rate decently.

Summer CBB rates good for CH5 terms, if it can continue to get 1.6-1.9 overnight except Saturday then it's fine I think.

I kind of feel annoyed for this series.

This series has been good so far and they've given us way more live feed than normal and are updating their social media accounts more.

BB15's ratings were not that bad, TBH. They looked bad at the time because it followed BB14, which averaged 1.9m and CBB13 which averaged 3.1m - both being the highest rated series on C5 at the time. So 1.6m looked dissapointing considering we had two highest rated series before it. But it rated okay for a C5 series considering BB12 and BB13 also rated the same. It's BB16's ratings that were actually awful and at the low end of the 1m mark.

I personally think 1.6-1.9m is awful for a summer CBB as it's practically averaging the same as a BB series was 2/3 years ago, when the reason we have summer CBB is because it brings in extra viewers. If it's going to bring in 1.6-1.9m, they might as well axe summer CBB as it's not worth it and just have the civilian version in the summer which would bring similar ratings to it if they bothered putting more effort into it.

1.6-1.9 isn't official though, it would get between 2.1-2.3 officials which is 800k higher than BB.

yeah CBB Summer is a little pointless, this series is a lot better so far.

BB15 ratings were decent tbh, it wasn't even that bad of a series looking bad. Just a few flaws.

Also, CBB15 rated well because of the anticipation from CBB13 the year before which was successful (similar to how CBB5 launched to a great rating following the success of CBB4 the year before) as well the cast which had a lot of big names like Katie Price and Katie Hopkins. Plus, CBB15 had a lot of media coverage and controversy surrounding Katie Hopkins and Perez Hilton as well as other shows like This Morning (on ITV) talking about the show and having evicted housemates being interviewed which was good promo for the show. Not to mention the CBB15 promo was fantastic.

CBB15 would've got 3.2m had the final week not declined in ratings.

Ashley. 30-08-2015 04:16 PM

I wonder what will happen with Bobby tonight? He's supposed to be in control of the House but he hasn't done anything according to the twitter updates. Not even a mention.

If there was a twist then the ratings would be up but they haven't mentioned anything.

If there's an eviction on Tuesday he/everyone will have to nominate tonight so I guess we will know what's happening by tomorrow.

yeah CBB15 was great, I wonder who they will get for CBB17 to make it as good?

CBB15 promo was fab, it was everywhere.

Yeah. Emma said that there will be lots of twists happening over the weekend but we've had none.

There isn't

(if they're going to carry on with BB at all after this, they should have learnt by now that summer CBB is a really bad idea)

very low for XF.

Rob! 31-08-2015 12:08 PM

X factor is doing abysmally so far - Simon Cowell will be having a fit.

But as for CBB - without +1 it got 1.03m which is lower than the majority of Timebomb was getting. It needs to start climbing from here otherwise we're going to be getting another 4in4out twist :(

Will. 31-08-2015 12:09 PM

hopefully it will climb, everything is falling.

Will. 31-08-2015 12:18 PM

The only show thats holding strong atm is The Great British Bake Off.
