You pair of heartless bastards! :o Morgan is one of the best characters in it
|
9.4/10 rating on Rotten Tomatoes so far, the highest of the season so far. Well deserved.
|
without Dezzy's 0/10 rating it would be a 9.5

I didn't hate it but I did find it quite dull in parts, it was the first episode of the season I haven't absolutely loved. A less-brilliant episode of TWD is still better than the best episodes of plenty of other shows, though.

Can't wait for Eastman to win the outstanding guest star Emmy
|
Morgan is tiresome and the whole Rick vs Morgan storyline that this season is heading towards has been done before in Season 2. I liked the whole idea of doing multiple episodes about one event from different perspectives, that was new and interesting but this episode just reminded me of everything I hate about The Walking Dead.
It was pretentious, overwrought, pointless and repetitive. Give us more episodes like the first three episodes and less of the high school dropout philosophy that the writers have been regurgitating since the start. |
Dezzy switching off the Telly in disguist and throwing the remote across the rome as Eastman walks onto the stage
|
I actually liked Eastman until they they gave him a forced cliche backstory and killed him off in a way that both undermined his character and was completely generic. They should have been less predictable by not giving him a backstory and not killing him off. He's far more interesting as an mysterious master than a naive father with a tragic backstory, we have enough of those and we've seen enough one off characters bite the dust for it to become the norm.
If the writers were actually creative with their choices then this could have been a good episode but it just embodied everything bad about Walking Dead. |
Throughout the whole episode I kept wondering why I recognised Eastman, only realised when I read the actor's name last night that it was Twisty the Clown.

If I was Dezzy I would stop watching the show

Another great ep this week, there was something really peaceful and simple about it all, It was like a film and a story all fitted into the one episode.

Yes I agree, I did love the first few episodes and all the action was great but I like a bit of variety too |
Hopefully this weekends episode will be a 90 minute fly on the wall real-time special as we analyze what the Wolf is doing tied up in that room.

I still enjoyed the episode, but you are right.. it was filler, and it has been done before. |

Good ole Norm Gunderson... |
I loved the episode even though it wasn't necessarily needed. I think bits of Morgan's back story could've been revealed in small segments across the season, but now we know everything. I think it would've been better trying to figure out what happened to him.
The episode was amazingly acted but I can see the comparisons to other episodes. I'm looking forward to tonight's episode. |

I guess they need those Emmy nods though. |

Each episode feels like it's getting slower and slower tbh. Probably because they're trying to drag out the mystery of Glenn for as long as possible.

Going to be starting this soon, i've watched the pilot but my survivor watch got in the way and i'm nearly done! Who will i like?
|
Not the best episode really, next weeks looks good though
|
Hmm, it was alright, bit boring tbh. Next week's episode looks to up the tempo and it looks like Daryl will feature heavily which is good
