One of my auntie's rabbits died in the cold last night. They thought a rain cover over their hutch would be enough. :(

Our guinea pigs have a bag of hay, one of those microwaveable heat pads and two rain covers and they're thriving! (Granted I haven't let them out in their run this week because they'd be too exposed)

The cat has been inside since yesterday, he took a very brief look outside but wasn't having any of it, the dogs been out for a couple of walks in it alright but she's been inside other than that

Another 2" overnight, so around 8" of powder snow blowing around, continuous snow grains falling. Snow blowing off roofs in great clouds.

Windy as anything here - uprooted a tree round the corner which crashed onto the roof of a car with the driver in it. Unhurt thankfully. M62 still closed and bitterly cold but no snow since yesterday so hopefully we have seen the worst of it now.

Been snowing here all day, just spent an hour and bit on the drive again - i have a six foot high snow pile now and i cant get to Fife to pick up as the road i use has waist high drifts right across :oh:

Also the TL is in full baking mode as she is off work again

:idc:

Ashley. 02-03-2018 02:05 PM

The snow has stopped now but the roads around where I live are extremely slippery. Absolute hell trying to reverse into a parking space.
