I also hope it opens up more confidence to go for results more too. This shows how it can be done. |

I hope that you're right Joey that the team gets some confidence from this result, and surely playing against Man City in the FA Cup has given the players the incentive to want to play in the Premier League next season. Obviously for that to happen at this point we'd probably need to go on a 15 game unbeaten run which I don't see happening.:joker: |

The result yesterday gave me hope some urgency may be setting in Mock. We need to get a run of points and not just draws. |

Preston will definitely be looking for revenge on Wednesday, hopefully we give them the Middlesbrough treatment. |

Nail biting time again on Wednesday. Not sure my nerves can take much more Mock. :joker: |

We never make it easy on the fans, with the exception of the season where we came 9th in the Premier League that is.:joker: |
For goodness sake.
The amount of times Birmingham will have to look back over this season and count the times where scoring just one goal would have made the difference of a draw and/or a win, will come to a fairly significant total. Awful, just awful result tonight. |

I think that we'll be incredibly lucky to stay up this season. |

It's looking worrying. |
Cardiff seems to have it bad at the moment.
6 consecutive losses. |

I wonder what's gone wrong at Cardiff? |

I'm worried too Joey, hopefully we're being worried for nothing, but this is the most flat I've ever felt about Blues in a season before because sadly I get the impression that the players don't even care if they do well or not so it's showing in their performances imo. |
I am seriously surprised that Karanka is still in the Blues job.
Are they seriously waiting for Sheffield Wed and Wycombe to overtake us on the table before doing anything? |

I REALLY, sorry to say, don't see a way out of this. These by one goal range of defeats, where another goal would have got a point in some matches and where in many matches one more goal would have added 2 points each match to the total. The possible is in place, as they can at times get ahead and get to a good draw position in matches too. However the probability is now, they let that slip, they cannot build on a lead or get to take a lead in draw scenarios. That has sadly become the norm. There is no way they should be in the position they're in. It's not good for a massive city like Birmingham. Sadly though, I can't see an answer to it this season now.. The players now just in my view need to charge out, believing now they've nothing to lose and attack every remaining match. Hoping for the best. I've always held the view, never underestimate teams in danger of relegation. However that seems to be the best to hope for this season. Sadly heading into league 1, the old League 3 for goodness sake, may be difficult to bounce out of too. I hope, this fall into the bottom 3 now will spur them all on to go all out every week now. They need confidence building too though.. That seems non existent at the club at present sadly. |
Very important win for Birmingham especially when all teams around them have games in hand

I've been all edgy for the last half hour. Birmingham really take their supporters on a roller coaster ride.. It is an important win, I can relax a bit now the match is over.:joker: |

In fairness to Karanka the last three games have shown a massive improvement over the previous 14 or 15 games before. I still personally don't like Ren as CEO, or personally want Karanka as our Manager, but it has been nice to see us being competitive against teams again over the last few games. |
Big win Mock, i had a smile for you when i heard on Talksport!

Best of luck to Birmingham for today’s game. Barnsley is a tough one they’ve been on some really good form lately hopefully the Blues will be able to get something from this game :fc:.
|
Such a disappointing result yesterday. Neither team looked like they were going to score throughout the whole 90 mins and then in the 94th minute we’re blessed with a penalty to snatch all 3 points.
In typical Charlton fashion we missed it and I’m still fuming about it now. ):< |

Thanks LT, and congratulations to Rangers on their title win.:) |

Hopefully for Blues and the other teams down in the relegation fight with us is that Rotherham get docked points, I'm not normally so nasty as to want to see a club get docked points, but two Covid outbreaks is disgraceful imo, and with all of their games in hand on everyone else they'll know what they have to do to stay up, plus they'll be fresh when going into all of these big games coming up. Basically if Rotherham stay up at the end of the season at the expense of us, Derby, Coventry, or Huddersfield who have all followed the rules for the most part at least, then I personally will class it as illegitimate as we'd never know if they'd have stayed up if they were playing the same amount of games as the rest of us up to this point. |

Yh I can understand your frustration there mate. Rotherham do have some pretty difficult games coming up so hopefully it works in your favour if you can string together some good results. |

I see you’s have Bristol City today. I’m backing the blues on my 5 fold (:. Bristol have been on some really bad form lately so I’m hoping that the blues will take advantage of that. |
