Was he serious in intent, no of course he wasn't.
He even realised he needed to address that himself as has been said and Kazanne mentioned too.

I would heavily condemned. Him if he meant it, as I'd guess you may have done so too.
However he did not.

For me this is at worst a formal final warning issue not an ejection one.

Agree totally.

Slip of the tongue, mimicking, comedy. All boils down to the facr he said 'KILL ALL JEWS'.

No Hitler said that Lewis was mimicking him, but you would have realised that.

So, in your opinion, a man who makes a joke in poor taste is worse than a man who makes a threat of rape.

A joke is something about Hitler not saying kill the Jews that not a joke .
He has never made any impressions or joked in his entire time in there yet people want to believe he suddenly became a comedian now that's funny
He was obviously ranting and trying to cover it up with a slip of the tongue lie .

Yep...all true.

ThriceShy 01-11-2018 12:11 AM

Wait a minute, Hitler did say kill the jews. So all lewis did was an accurate impression of someone we like to mock because he wasn't a very nice guy.

Stop attacking a fm.

A little insensitive? Tell that to 6 million killed Jews how they like being joked about.

Taken all out of context...

Lewis went straight in the DR and apologised...he never meant it that way and you know it.
Let's not talk about insensitivity...especially when it comes to FMs insulting the looks and personal attacks on housemates which isn't what we are here to discuss.

Conor's the biggest disgrace that BBUK has ever had imo, how anyone can say that Lewis was worse needs to rewatch BB13 in my view.

And I can understand why Ch5 wanted him removed as his comments could damage their brand if they left him to stay in the house, however I still think that actions speak louder than words and I'm still wondering why Zoe is still in the house after she committed the bigger offence by trying to punch Hussain?

Rob! 01-11-2018 01:44 AM

There is no and should be no comparison between Conor and Lewis whatsoever. Conor was a vile bullying thug with absolutely no redeeming features about him whatsoever.
Lewis is a massively paranoid anxious person with a kind heart in the right place, but I do also think that he could have stamped on a baby's head and there are still people on here that would defend him so debating him and his removal is pretty pointless in the grand scheme of things.

You've summed up both Housemates quite well I think.

Yaki da 01-11-2018 01:56 AM

Reminds me of the poor guy up in Scotland who had 2 years of his life put on hold for making a video featuring himself training his girlfriend's Pug dog to do a Heil Hitler salute when he said "Gas the Jews". He made it clear he was joking and trying to turn what his girlfriend regarded as the cutest dog in the world into the most monstrous thing imaginable.

These stories are just beyond parody at this point. The country has clearly lost its marbles.

bots 01-11-2018 04:29 AM

Anyone here condoning Lewis actually jewish? Didn't think so :idc:

Ammi 01-11-2018 04:46 AM

...it was only his place in the house he lost as opposed to if it had been a celebrity BB and a career may have been lost as well...

....it’s the irony of Lewis that has so often been the thing...he seems to feel superior to many levels of conversation and yet his level of conversation is the only eject-able one in its careless, offensive content...

Of course , and don't forget all these perfect people have never said anything inappropriate, most people know it 's not his thoughts he just relayed something someone else said so for all those banging on about fans defending Lewis, it's no different than anti fans trying to make out it was Lewis himself who wanted "All Jews killed" if you are relaying what someone has said, you use the words they said , so people can spin it how they like, I wonder if the autobiography about Hitler used those words , you can bet they did, lets go and preach to them just how bad they are for using the mans own words.pfft

That analogy doesn't work though, an author of an auto biography uses words as factual, Lewis used it to get a cheap laugh.

Put another way, if someone on a reality TV show made a cheap joke at an atrocity that has affected you deeply, how would you expect them to handle it? I would be calling for blood. C5 cannot take the chance of being associated with it....rightly or wrongly, they are a business and ha e to protect their brand

Crimson Dynamo 01-11-2018 06:54 AM

He was ejected NOT for what he said but for the potential for the powers that be to get blame

its just people in elite positions protecting their personal wealth and status

he was just thrown under the bus

Ammi 01-11-2018 07:11 AM

...when you say ‘kill the jews’ on a national TV show...(..the context of saying it is irrelevant..)....then you’ve thrown yourself under a bus and nothing else offered as any type of explanation or reasoning or whatever is anything other that just a deflection from that...Lewis knows what he did ..(..and I’m sure knows that he would have won quite easily...)...so knows that his ejection was by his own hand with his careless and thoughtless use of words...

Beso 01-11-2018 07:13 AM

He proved to us on tv that he Infact does not love everyone.
