so there won't be a live action tv show, too expensive, the live action stuff mainly focus on eventual newer films then

but more seasons for camp cretaceous are also very likely due to its success, and how easy it is to create via computer and voice acting (+ also getting a high profile voice actor star in season 4 in Haley Joel Osment says also something how much of an impact this animated series also made into the franchise)

Nicky91 31-01-2022 03:34 PM

third and last tv spot, with snowboarder Shaun White

Nicky91 01-02-2022 07:37 AM

next week probably we get the official trailer

and next few days we might few more promo clips though

Nicky91 01-02-2022 08:49 AM

am really excited for the trailer now

these tv spots well have hyped me up a lot, also seeing dino's in the snow is probably very new to many others but not me

already have seen some in the snow/ice in CC season 4
Spoiler:

in mantah corp's island, arctic biome

-------

superfan Klayton about why Dominion having so many new species of dinosaurs

+ we of course know dominion is tied into Camp Cretaceous, i wouldn't be surprised if we got some ''non-dino'' prehistoric creature in there as well, such as either a Mammoth, would make sense, since CC had a sable tooth tiger featured

Nicky91 10-02-2022 03:38 PM

official trailer

omg this looks so good

Nicky91 11-02-2022 02:01 PM

i like this trailer more than for fallen kingdom

because there are almost no huge spoilers, since so many question marks still for me

but also very nice to see many cheesy throwback moments to original jurassic park scenes

- the original trio Grant, Malcolm, Sattler in almost same pose as for jurassic park promo

- they say epic conclusion of the jurassic era, soooooo likely if they are making new films they won't include jurassic in its title anymore, since Frank Marshall confirmed it won't be the end of the franchise and deservedly so since this franchise is very HOT, popular amongst superfans

- the return of dilophosaurus now live action seen as well in this trailer, very nice  and also seems to be an animatronic which is even more cool :flutter:

- more scientifically accurate looking dinosaurs which is also a major plus, feathered dino's look so much better (although others already looked great but this is a nice extra for actual scientists when watching this movie)

- one scene of parasaurolophus in the nature looking indeed like documentary as Trevorrow said it would, yes that looks divine as well

all in all, i am beyond excited now for the whole movie after seeing this trailer :)

Calderyon 13-02-2022 02:42 AM

Looks very promising.

dominion runtime revealed, longest franchise entry

The runtime for Jurassic World: Dominion has reportedly been revealed, and it looks set to be the longest entry in the franchise.

One Take News and Collider confirmed through sources that Dominion will clock in at 2 hours 26 mins, making it the franchise's longest installment. The second trilogy-closer is almost an hour longer than Jurassic Park III, the shortest entry at 1 hour 32 mins, and nearly 20 minutes longer than The Lost World and Fallen Kingdom, the lengthiest entries at 2 hours 9 mins.

Jurassic World: Dominion is expected to cap off the latest trilogy, but not the entire series, with a story that takes place four years after the events of Fallen Kingdom. This time around, the world is forced to deal with some invasive dino species, including one that is particularly deadly, after the park's genetically altered inhabitants were sold off to various companies.

Director Colin Trevorrow previously spoke about how Dominion will sink its teeth into a larger story, one that will tie together the two trilogies and serve as "a celebration of the whole franchise." The next film will also break out more animatronic dinosaurs and practical effects than the two other Jurassic World movies, so it may just need those extra minutes.

new video from JP fan Klayton Fioriti too

Empire covers

and we now also know Mamoudou Athie's character name, which is ''Ramsay Cole''

https://www.empireonline.com/movies/...vers-revealed/

Nicky91 09-04-2022 01:37 PM

apparently we are getting a second trailer in next few days

Nicky91 10-04-2022 09:04 AM

sooo the Giga has an animatronic and not just CGI effects

very cool

Nicky91 10-04-2022 09:15 AM

apparently Mamoudou teased his character Ramsay Cole is a ''very ambitious and forward thinking young man''
Spoiler:

part of a BioSyn bad guy team whom are ordered to capture dinosaurs all across the world and bring them to some secret BioSyn base called BioSyn Valley where they want to do research on them, for pharmaceutical companies etc to make new experimental medicine for terminal illnesses, no there is likely something more going on like preserving their dino dna and cloning even more dinosaurs etc, yeah so definitely something shady there

i like Mamoudou as an actor, i recently have seen him in this horror film called Underwater next to Kristen Stewart but yes he is quite talented

i also look forward to seeing Campbell Scott as Lewis Dodgson, find him way better suited to the Dodgson role than the original actor whose name we no longer will mention for obvious reasons

and one more fan theory, regarding the return of the spinosaurus

and yes i also think
Spoiler:

BioSyn and Mantah Corp are connected, would also be good for the franchise somehow, so possible more storylines can continue via Camp Cretaceous as well as some of dino's featured in that series making a possible appearance in Dominion like Pierce, Little and Big Eatie, why i think of this more is at the last ep of season 4 we got the comeback of dilophosaurus there, and we know now the dilopho is also back in the movies via the super bowl trailer

latest blog video

Spoiler:

a BioSyn list of names of their employees, and we see the name Howard King, yes correct the character from TLW novel, and we also see the last name Tembo, could be very much related to the TLW film character Roland Tembo the big game hunter who tranq'd the male t rex who got shipped off to san diego in the climax of the second film, would be cool indeed if Pete Postlethwaite's character can posthumously too get a big role like John Hammond in the franchise and not just a one off character, i really liked him in TLW especially his dialogues with Vince Vaughn's Nick van Owen, could be a son of Roland tbh, E.Tembo and it is a team apparently for recapturing dinosaur specimens and bringing them to the main BioSyn base

Nicky91 17-05-2022 01:38 PM

Spoiler:

really am sure now that Howard King could be Scott Haze's character, not 100% sure but i have always been thinking this

Niamh. 14-06-2022 02:20 PM

Going to see this tonight

Niamh. 15-06-2022 09:45 AM

Meh

Spoiler:

Wasn't overly impressed to be honest, it was a long enough movie but it still felt rushed in a lot of parts, like they tried to fit too much in with a flimsy story line and were just hoping the nostalgia of a few of the Jurassic park characters would make it great without much effort into the rest of the film 5.5/10

Alf 15-06-2022 03:06 PM

Calderyon 15-06-2022 06:47 PM

They heavily promoted it as a conclusion of the franchise.

Nicky91 15-07-2022 12:45 PM

am planning on watching this tonight, of course i'll still buy the official blu ray, but we've found a decent version online (with english subs for hearing impaired but english subs is always better than korean subs or chinese subs) in 1080p

sorry not sorry if i am watching it illegally first but the whole excitement i can no longer wait 4 or 5 months

@Cald, no the conclusion of the ''Jurassic'' part of the franchise, so any next movies will have other titles then, no longer jurassic in that, hence why they promoted it a longer time already as ''new era'' and how Trevorrow and Marshall hinted on further new films and not going for live action series, despite camp cretaceous having a decent success in the animated series section, how live-action series are more expensive than films

am really looking forward to it, based on the trailer well i am excited

Nicky91 16-07-2022 07:25 AM

ok thoroughly really enjoyed it a lot, definitely buying the blu ray and definitely watching few times more

Spoiler:

i cannot understand at all why some other people gave it such a low score, it isn't your average too cliché dinosaurs in the city storyline, good move from Trevorrow since that is already been there done that in The Lost World

i also thought most people would be happy with original trio getting really major roles, i myself really liked the chemistry between Alan, Ellie, Maisie at first and then all of main cast alongside each other for the first time

Campbell Scott excellently portrayed Dodgson

the Malta chase scene is great, the dino black market thing was a nice idea, some really cool death scenes there, for example one guy who fell on top of a BBQ and subsequently got eaten, very cheesy like a ''human steak right from the grill''

also nice having seen bit of Barry/Owen team up again

Spoiler:

haha at Dodgson having same death scene as Nedry in JP, but triplefied as for amount of dilopho's

Blue and her child

yes amazing movie, i myself would score it a very good 9.3, could've turned out to be much much much worse

side note: Laura Dern really looks sooooooo different from the first JP, i know older, but her hair that long, idk if i like it

as for future films, apparently Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire) are rumours ongoing if she should return as the next director in a near future

https://screenrant.com/bryce-dallas-...assic-world-4/

Nicky91 27-07-2022 01:06 PM

regarding something in the movie

Spoiler:

BioSyn technology plot hole, how they could herd the dinosaurs into the sanctuary area so easily, well Dodgson got the mind control tech from Mantah Corp as shown in camp cretaceous season 5
