It was said to Harry though and he then spoke about it in the interview. If its a lie, its a ****ty one as Archie will one day see it

It was a conversation that happened with Harry.

All we have right now is a one - sided version. Until we have Wills and Kate or the Queen and Charles doing their Oprah turn (as if!) we can't take anything as gospel. Meghan is going to skew events to suit her narrative and the American audience she wants to court, others would skew it to suit theirs.

I think if they were concerned about skin color, Queen would not have given permission to marry. 43,000 likes

What a lovely thing to do - air family disagreements on international television. This girl has no class and is a lesson in selfishness, ingratitude and ungraciouness 36,000 likes

Narcissist, toxic, manipulative - these all describe Meghan Markel to a 'T'. Remove her titles and the titles of her puppet in the grey suit while you're at it. 33, 000 likes

No! No, no, noooo. I cannot read anymore of this rubbish coming out of this woman's mouth. She is just grim. 28,000 likes

Well, shes thrown Kate under the bus less than 30 minutes in; Im hoping shes relieved of her pesky title.

This interview was never going to change anyone's opinion of them. I'm bored of it already

Its quite telling though if the story is true about the Kate / Meghan incident. I assume if Kate sent a note, that could be produced to prove it but for the Royals to have allowed the press to run with that story since the wedding without refuting it is pretty horrible. They could have issued a statement saying there was no truth to that rumour (without throwing Kate under the bus).

I am not making comments like this?

find it incredibly worrying that even though this interview is out now and theyve spoken their truth about what happened and how it happened, and let’s be honest, we know it’s true, they wouldn’t have said it if it wasn’t, there are still people still blinded by their dislike for them that they’re pulling them apart for it.

Families take offence at each other all the time, someone says something, someone else takes it the wrong way, we didn't have 20 years of JK because families got along, the Royals are no different

The narrative when they left was that it was due to the Toxic Media, even up to Harry on the bus...da media

somewhere along the line the narrative changed

I has been around for years that Meghan made Kate cry at a fitting for the bridesmaid dresses. That has never been refuted by Meghan or Harry in all this time and now, all of a sudden, its the other way round?
Saving it for the big Oprah interview, eh?
Not buying it.

They’re supposed to issue a statement every time a false news story surfaces?

They’ve got lives to live :pat:

Cherie 08-03-2021 10:40 AM

Well it wouldn't have been a good look if he owned up to it all being about money.

A mile away from my house a 24 year old man hung himself in someone’s horse paddock last week.

So in order to prove one's mental health struggles to you, they have to die? What awful logic.

Also, I'm just gonna say this, it's a good rule of thumb in life to look back at your arguments and positions on things. If you find yourself tying yourself in knots trying to defend something, going to extreme lengths to do so by disparaging issues of mental health or believing questionable sources, or even lessening the crimes of a peadophile so that Meghan looks 'worse' in comparison, you are probably in the wrong.

It's easy to defend a belief if it's morally correct, if you are in the right of things. Harder when you aren't and you're trying to do mental gymnastics to justify it.
