Farage beating Nick in last night's boot off was a joke :bored: , Farage will be making the top 4 ...this is what happens all the time. Every year it's predictable AF... would be nice to have a surprise winner for a change. If I was a gambler I'd put everything on Sam , that's how obvious it is that he's winning.

Only thing to stop him now is if he goes on a epic sexist rant and treats Danielle & Josie like crap, and he'd probably still get excused as his " ADHD that he can't control" . Just like how he aggravates Tony and invades his personal space.

I was gutted Nick went, mind you it really doesn't matter we all know Sam's going
to win

Clip of tonight's task

Nigel and Marvin.

GoldHeart 08-12-2023 03:27 PM

Awww Marvin is out tonight .

Strictly Jake 08-12-2023 03:30 PM

Can't believe Marvin is doing another trial. Fair enough it red Nigel's turn but it should be with Josie. I agree I think Marvin will leave tonight, always a bummer to have to leave just before cyclone!!

GoldHeart 08-12-2023 04:59 PM

Oh I just realised Marvin hasn't made the cyclone:facepalm:, I kept thinking 5 people were in the cyclone. But it's only 4 ? .

Good luck to wobbly Nigel doing that then. He'll get the easier job :idc:.

And if nobody else wants to do a trial ,then what is Marvin supposed to do ? , I find it funny people complaining he's 'doing another trial ', when clearly Josie doesn't want to do a trial , Tony is less enthusiastic about it & Nigel always babbles something.

No doubt Sam was leaping up again like a frog , saying ' pick me pick me ' .

Nigel still has a lot of pain from previous accidents though. In a plane crash, he suffered a punctured lung, two chipped vertebrae, several fractured ribs and a fractured sternum after the aircraft plunged to earth.
In a car accident, he was thrown into the air and landed on his head, which hit the curb. Following the incident, Farage spent two months in hospital and had his leg in cast for a year.

He got full stars in the eating trial and the drinking trial, so he has done his bit. He’s understandably wary of anything which requires flexibility as he suffers pain and muscle stiffness and doesn’t want to let the camp down.
The other guys are younger and stronger. So I don’t see the problem.

Well whether people are younger & stronger isn't the point, why did Nigel go in knowing full well he'd be struggling?, just for the 1.5 mill ?? . Everyone knows it isn't just eating & drinking trials. He can't just go through the jungle avoiding trials.

After all we're always saying campmates should get involved more , Josie seems to have given up doing trials now and I think Tony wants the TV show to end so he can go home.

Look at the cyclone coming up , he still has to do it ... they'll just make him do the easier side of it.

arista 08-12-2023 05:57 PM

Yes

"Look at the cyclone coming up, he still has to do it"

I think Nigel will do his very best, he can

What about Josie - is she going to be able?

He has taken part in other trials though...he just isn't that successful. In the trial where they had to lie flat and find all the right keys, the strain on his neck was causing him great pain, but he tried.
If he makes it to the cyclone, it would make sense to have him do the easiest part - they want to complete it after all.
There have always been older and less fit/capable people in the jungle. It's not just for the young and strong. That's what makes it interesting.

Look how good Cannon & Ball were in trials and they weren't exactly spring chickens. George Hamilton was one of the pointless sign ups , I don't remember him doing anything.

I'm not saying Nigel hasn't done any trial, but if you had injuries would you still do the jungle?. We all know how tough it is . Celebs always get ruled out on medical grounds fair enough, but sometimes it's a mistake them even being in the jungle if they're not up to it .

But that’s just the same as saying that people with disabilities shouldn’t have the right to do Strictly. Nigel has taken part in trials, and like all of them, has his own strengths and weaknesses.

He might not be my favourite person in the world, and I might think he has been outrageously overpaid for his participation, but he deserves to be there, just like anyone else. He has brought entertainment and he has contributed to the camp.

Do you not think some celebrities aren't cut out for the jungle ? , look at Grace & Jamie quitting. Why did they bother ... just to get their fee clearly  .

I do agree some celebs shouldn’t take part - those (like Grace) who contribute nothing, get their fee and then decide to leave within a few days definitely should not.

That’s a different thing, though, to what you said before, in suggesting that Nigel shouldn’t be there and is not cut out for the jungle, due to his physical difficulties, as Nigel has played a full role in camp, has successfully completed a number of trials, and has given his best, even when he has been struggling physically. He has also provided entertainment.

Beautiful to see the leftie rags having a meltdown over a tv show.

I understand what you mean, Alf, and I take everything I read in the gutter press with a pinch of salt, whatever their political persuasion.

Just shows that it’s better to have a group of people who all get on and not have an annoying troublemaker like Lady whatsernane ..

Imho
