as for the televote, i feel the televoters won't buy this either, how plastic and over the top it is, compared to some real genuine very televote friendly crowdpleasers (Netherlands, Estonia, Italy, Greece, Armenia, Switzerland, Norway)

He’s got a fantastic voice but it is more difficult when you are jumping around thats why most resort to miming on chat shows

He also co-wrote the song and gets no credit for that equally important aspect

Denmark wasn't good, they need to withdraw for one year to rethink their strategies in the contest i think, they kinda lost their mojo, although this was better than the tiktokker last year  Aura Dione however would've stood better chances at qualifying with her ''mirrorball of hope''

You're wasting your time Zizu but I admire your defence of someone who has done nothing wrong whatsoever.
Some just like to wind up unnecessarily.

There's nothing wrong with Olly.
His voice is really good.
As is the song.
The staging may not be to everyone's taste, just as other acts staging won't be to other people.

It's the staging he's been given, he'll do his very best.

Looking back over Eurovision as I did on that dvd I have
There's singers screaming their heads off and jumping round like they've fleas in their trousers or dresses.

Then you may not recall, a singer like Dana from Ireland, comes on sits down sang a gentle song like All Kinds of Everything and wins .
Another from Germany, Nicole, A Little Peace .
With many more examples too.

You don't have to have a booming voice or shout your head off to give a good performance.

I love Olly's voice, Years and Years would have been nothing without his voice and his presence.
His personality onstage too.

I love Fleetwood Mac, one of their songs 'Dreams' is one of my favourite.
I came across on YouTube with only a guitar and a few harmony singers well in the background in a radio studio.
Where Olly sits and sings Dreams .
It was sensitively done and beautiful.
Even the staff there clearly captivated.
I don't know if you've seen it obviously.

I wouldn't however bother with dealing with negativity to him from whatever is the real reason the negativity comes from.

People like all kinds of singers and music.
Which is liked by some and not by others.
However calling a singer vile just because for some reason known to themselves , is in my personal view utterly ridiculous.

I hope you enjoy Olly's performance like I certainly will tomorrow.
No matter his placing.
I've scratched my head at the UK being in the bottom section for years now.

Anything higher is a plus .

On that dvd I have, we once won with Lulu and to me an awful song Boom Bang a Bang of all things :joker:

It's the fun and crankiness of Eurovision where it can be the bottom of the table has the better performances.
The top half often leaving some wondering how most of them got that placing

Its a great song and clever but I worry that the staging is not as good as the video?
