The polls and the donors will decide. If the polls dive bomb they will replace him, if the donors stop giving money, they will replace him. If they remain largely unchanged, they will carry on as before. Let's not forget that Trump is a criminal, and he is still there. These are not normal times

that doesn't matter. People aren't getting it, unless the polls take a dive, there is no reason for the dems to do anything. Trump is a liar and a criminal and he is still a candidate

MTVN 29-06-2024 06:51 AM

Trump is now odds on at 8/13 to be next President

Biden as far out as 4/1

…strangely, someone on the radio this morning was still describing it as being very tight and close…which is a bit of a concern if you’re being described as tightly run with someone who is being deemed as mentally not competent…anyway, 6 possible names that were mentioned in an article of ‘if Biden were to be replaced…’…are…Kamala Harris, Gareth Newsom, J B Pritzker, Gretchen Whitmer, Sherrod Brown and Dean Phillips…

Mystic Mock 29-06-2024 07:22 AM

Americans won't vote for Kamala Harris.

The rural parts in particular don't see women as capable leaders.

it's almost time for me to put a bet on Biden, we just need to see how the next week or so pans out

Here is a question. How do the octogenarians in the 2 parties expect the younger folks to get experience if they don't give them a chance. It's absolutely stupid to suggest that Biden is the only person that can beat trump in a country of over 300 million people.

The dems were warned about Bidens age being an issue for over a year. There was a national poll that said that 80% of americans thought biden was too old

However, if the donors remain in place and the polls don't go down drastically, there is no reason to replace Biden

bots 29-06-2024 08:03 AM

another complication is that if the dems do convince biden to stand down, if they don't then pick Kamala as the replacement, they lose access to all the fund raising money collected so far as that was for the Biden/Harris ticket and is non transferable. So picking someone entirely new puts most of the dems in charge, out of a job

So Harris then becomes the likely pick, but she has a really low approval rating with the american public, so there is that small matter to consider

Really they should have added Biden's dog onto the ticket and gone with him as candidate for president

…here are some of the poll results post debate and post questioning of Biden’s ‘competence’….

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com...2024/national/

…as I said, I think what’s being lost in this so much as well in the focus being on Biden…is how close it still all is, that Trump really isn’t looking good against someone who is being seriously doubted for competence…what an absolute pickle of choices…this shouldn’t be close at all but apparently it is, which makes Trump also very questionable as to his suitability…

in a week, the polls may show Biden ahead

The important ones are the 5 or 6 swing states. Level in the polls really just means that non swing states will go with current party

Bill Maher
will be UK SkyComedyHD
on Monday late at night.

He said What about me,
He wants someone to Vote for?

After that debate, he can not vote for
Joe Biden.

That whole CNN debate was set up by Joe Biden.
The Democrats must do something

CNN HD USA Live Feed plays
his HBO Friday show.

bots 30-06-2024 04:22 AM

the dems don't need to do anything, there has been a slight net increase in bidens poll numbers and his fundraising got a boost after the debate.
