|
Congrats to everyone for your results! rice_square, you think yours is bad a boy in my year got straight U's!!
How did everyone celebrate then? |
Wow sophie are you sure the boy actually came in to do his exams? Thank you ann
|
Congrats everyone!
|
I forgot to mention, I did my GCSE German 2 years early, in year 9. I got my results through and I got a grade C which I was very pleased with.
|
Wow, well done Matthew.
|
Rice Square, I left school with dire grade CSEs. No O levels. I took my exams two years before GCSEs came into being (Or it may have been the year before my brain escapes me??)
The reason I say this is because as I said before my grades were poor (between two 2s in office practice and spanish, which equate to about D/Es in GCSEs) right down to level 4s in maths and english which are probably Us in GCSEs. As I said earlier I took GCSEs in maths and english and got a B and A but admit I would have loved it to have been an A*! Me thinks my spelling may have let me down there. Maybe you are the same as I? I've taken courses at the local university in recent years and will be starting an open university degree this year too. Don't give up on yourself. Remember plenty of people did badly in their orignal exams but went on to become extremely successful. To those who have achieved high grades, well done. Balderdash to those who say the exams have got easier! To those who have revised and worked hard well done, to those who have not - Oh dear. |
GCSEs-pointless.
A Levels-pointless. I have 7 As at and 3 Bs at GCSE. I also have 3 As at A level. Employers and uni's have lost belief in these courses. My advice would be to do a vocational degree or NVQ. Or just realise that social mobility is severly restricted. |
BUMP!
What date does everyone get their results? I'm getting my Leaving Cert results on the 13th and I'm sooo nervous! |
21st! eeek.
|
5th OF AUGUST!!!!!!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH sorry i am scared though LOL |
Wow, how a year does fly by.
|
Good luck to you all getting results. I still haven't recovered from mine haha.
|
I get mine on the 14th of August. I'm hoping I do OK, otherwise I need to rethink my plans for next year.
|
I get mine on the 14th as well. If I don't get all A's/B's then that will be a fail for me. A D or lower will be missed off my CV
Not particularly bothered anyway, well I am a bit, but I have no plans for Uni but I have a lot of other plans where I already have the qualifications I need or can get them elsewhere ... |
Good luck guys, just remember, it doesnt end here, if you dont get what you wanted, study it at college to achive ya goals
or work at Subway:tongue: |
21st, I'm nervous
