Well he told me today as he forgot. Sam will start in the weekend i think.

As Sam has departed TiBB, I will be taking over this banner competition.

OK, here's how it will work:

- The 85 competing banners will be randomly split in to 5 different heats containing 17 banners each.

- One at a time, a heat will be posted on here and for a number of days us TiBBers will get to vote for the ones we like best.

- After all heats have taken place, the two banners with the most votes from each heat will enter the final. The banner with the most votes from this final heat will be crowned the winner.

The first heat should be up this weekend.

Update:

Having consulted with Sam, I've decided that there will be eight heats in the competition - five heats with 11 banners, three heats with 10. First heat will be up today.
