I have another dog - Ruby.....she looks like Basil Brush!

And i love all the members pets on here, especially Niamhs very cool looking cat Eddie:love:

no, it's a cosmetic thing like docking their tails. It's illegal to do both those things here now though, probably in the UK too I'd imagine

He is cheeky, but he knows he can get away with it, he's not far from my side, whereas Ruby hasn't a loyal bone in her body, she's anyones for a sausage!

Think because if there used for hunting and other stuff their tails get stuck or injured.

He tries to be:laugh: but he can only fit his head on my lap, and he tries to snuggle so close to me.......is it wrong to love your dogs more than your hubby:hehe:

..we had one dog once that would climb into the TV cabinet when we were watching TV because he didn't like that the TV was getting the attention so he sat in front of the screen and stare at us...hmmm, I don't know, I'm sure that you give your husband sausages for his dinner as well Ruby, so he doesn't feel left out...

People used to do it on Jack Russells though alot and other dogs that wouldn't be hunting dogs. Oh they actually de claw cats in America as well sometimes. That's completely barbaric

Pips is a cross between a West Highland terrier and a Pomeranian, she looks like neither though.......I think she looks more like a bat :laugh:
