this. an ending for a TV show has never been as sad for me. Well, I think LOST is the only show where I actually cared for the ending much at all. R.I.P epic LOST. :(

Princess 24-05-2010 06:48 PM

I didn't cry at the finale because I'm that attached to it,it was never my show. But I so easily would have cried if I was a huge fan. It was all very emotional.

I almost cried and you didn't

Princess 24-05-2010 06:58 PM

Haha I know it's amazing I didn't cry! Just after the intensity of the Grey's finale and losing the baby(in Grey's that is) I suppose this didn't seem as sad for me. It seemed a bit happily ever after which was nice.

BigSister 24-05-2010 07:00 PM

I cried at the flashback shipping moments and also at the end when Jack came in the church and everyone was there

Princess 24-05-2010 07:01 PM

I loved the shipping moments. I got all my couples 'cept Kate and Sawyer!

"Lost" (9:00-11:30 p.m.)
Surging from its lead-in at 9:00 p.m., the 2-1/2 hour series finale of "Lost" pulled in an average audience of 13.5 million viewers and a 5.8/15 in Adults 18-49 to stand as the No. 1 TV show on Sunday night on both counts. "Lost" soared to the top of its time period, beating out its nearest network competition (NBC's season finale of "Celebrity Apprentice" from 9:00-11:00 p.m.) by 4.2 million viewers by 71% in Adults 18-49. In addition, Lost registered as TV's highest-rated drama finale this season in Adults 18-49.

* ABC estimates that 20.5 million unique viewers watched the series finale of "Lost" during its 2-1/2 hour broadcast - unduplicated viewers that watched 6-minutes or more of the program.

And that's not including people that DVR'd it

Locke. 24-05-2010 07:02 PM

Insiders tell me that the Man in Black did have a name in the script, but the Powers that Be decided not to spill it. It was Samuel.

Novo 24-05-2010 07:04 PM

Samuel LOL!!!!

InOne 24-05-2010 07:06 PM

Hmm thinking back to that episode to where both the babies were born I could have sworn she said Samuel. Can't be too sure though and I'm probs wrong lol

Iceman 24-05-2010 08:11 PM

still think that jack and kates last goodbye on island was brilliantly done....so much emotion in it.

Ramsay 24-05-2010 08:54 PM

i think when season 6 is released on dvd

cant wait to get
season 1-6 dvd:)

InOne 24-05-2010 08:59 PM

yeah agreed. Some of the acting in this last season was just impeccable - true class, and talent. ah, i'll really miss this show.

Raph 24-05-2010 09:39 PM

you have a wicked LOST signature, David. Brings back memories from when it started in 2004 :)

Locke. 24-05-2010 09:44 PM

Haha thanks. I wish Desmond was in it too, though.

Hopefully some goods pics of the cast from this season will come out soon...

Yeah, Desmond was sort of the most important character afterall. But my favorite from season 1 has to be Locke, that man was a legend. From day 1 where he was playing checkers with Walt. 'Black and White' - the epic man of fate.

Raph 24-05-2010 09:47 PM

hahah looking at your sig, I remember watching LOST and thinking Sun was really (ugly) and then you just see her in a flashback in a pink dress, and damnn Sun is a cool character haha. That's how simple season 1 was. The good 'ol days :)

BigSister 24-05-2010 09:51 PM

Im gonna watch from s1 using my dvds

I think i'll do that too. It'll be wicked seeing how much foreshadowing the writers put into the show, as I watch it from the beginning again!

Locke. 24-05-2010 09:54 PM

I rewatched Season 1-5 over the last month, so I think I'm going to watch to get the blu-rays now before watching the first 5 again. Will watch Season 6 again soon though.. And the finale a few more times this week.

ILoveTRW 24-05-2010 10:00 PM

I don't think either of those questions were answered; but my memory isn't so sharp with LOST because I need to rewatch the past seasons. The numbers I don't think were ever going to be explained; I think they were deliberately placed in episodes for fans to notice and try and find a significance for, but ultimately were just a random coincidence of numbers that appeared everywhere, in the same way that the characters randomly interacted with each other in their lives off the island. The pregnancy thing, not so sure... there was never an answer to that. All part of the mystery eh! :)

i agree with you to an extent.....the numbers were a great plot device to keep fans guessing.....

BigSister 24-05-2010 10:20 PM

I thought the numbers were explained as the numbers of the candidates in epi 4 or 5 of season 6

you know i think your right, that slipped my mind completely.

Locke. 24-05-2010 10:22 PM

The numbers were explained off screen - http://lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/Valenzetti_Equation

BigSister 24-05-2010 10:28 PM

Thanks for that David I always wanted to know what the numbers meant

ILoveTRW 24-05-2010 10:29 PM

well im just going to block the last 4 series out of my mind because they were just strung out pieces of ****
and funnily enough the only time i shed a tear in the finale was when they flashed back to the first 2 series
