How about this.

Add a donations button on to the forum. Once the required amount of money to run the forum is donated, the desired features get put in place on this forum. This can be an annual thing or it could all just happen at once.

I'm totally against the VIP perks etc cos I can see it now

The site I donate on just has the word Donater under the username,we get nothing more than none donators but we like the site so much the donations are not a problem,its a quick paypal button.

You should find out how to create a forum and then just make one yourself :joker: You have all these ideas for the forum and most of them don't get put in place. You could test them on your site and then use it as 'evidence' to get them implemented on here.

Surely the premium service should be called TiBBBOTS.

So basically, the problem is that some don't want to donate but they want the perks if other people get them? I find that view kinda selfish to be honest.

If Tibb needs money just place a paypal facility on it and see where it goes,no need to be rewarded for just keeping the site going.

It would essentially be like a kick starter campaign.

Guys we would like you to donate so and so money and if you guys reach it we will give the forum x, y and Z. If you go even higher you can even have extra perks.

I'm not going to spend money on people so annoyed with it being put in place that they want other people to buy it for them.

Tibb doesn't need money... It's not like the owner has put out a request. It's just an idea to help get some new features on here and help out at the same time :shrug:
