Yeah, I definitely think it was somewhat, when you watch 5foot2 they talk about elevating her and her image by stripping it back. Each previous album they’d try to outdo the other and now they had to go back to basics in order for there to be somewhere to go in the future. She even says at one point “I can’t keep elevating myself to the point that I’m lady Gaga again, because then it’s like, why did you even bother making this record”

Obviously she can’t half this very analog record and rock the sort of looks she had for the first three albums, it just wouldn’t work

I THINK, what happened is she was scheduled to release in April, but then there was a massive shallow resurgence so they pushed it back, then Taylor dropped and Old Town Road was ridiculously big so they pushed it back again and then they realized it was too close to her enigma shows so they’ve pushed it again :skull:

I want to possibly paint her wearing it but need super clear images to do this from so I can get the painting looking "as real" as I can (I'm talking strands of hair/skin pores/flecks of light kind of real)...

There's this one pose she does on the red carpet with her hand to her mouth that I can only find in small/slightly blurry images (when zoomed in) and was hoping I could find a super large, super HQ version or two.
