Tbh, I am a bit pissed off with certain forum members. Just because a minority of people take things too seriously, they are ruining things for the majority. If they don't agree with the way things are then they should just stay out of the threads. Certain people complaining about the threads are some of the worst culprits for causing trouble in them. If you don't like them, then avoid them. I have no problems whatsoever on this forum with anyone and I enjoy posting in here. People say that members can chat in the lounge but tbh, hardly anyone was posting in there. Sometimes I was talking to myself.

Members shouldn't be calling for closure of the threads, as that is just going to antagonize people. Nobody is forcing them to post in them. I do however believe that sometimes the insults can go a little bit too far, and they may cause offence. Sometimes it's hard to differentiate between a joke and a serious statement on a forum. I think we should just post in our own threads in future to avoid anything being misconstrued. It's a shame, as both threads should be open to everyone to post in, but it is obviously causing friction.

Agreed Baz, i see no problem in keeping them open, i think people over react to the insults that have been said i think.

I post joke insults myself, but they all know me and know I am only joking. Somebody could take it the wrong way though if they didn't know me. And sometimes I think the name calling is a bit unnecessary. If we stick to our own thread then nobody can have any complaints. I don't want to see this thread go as I like it here. Sometimes I get bored as hell on the forum and this is a lively thread where we can all have a laugh.
