Labour put up a candidate with transphobic views, and this is how it turned out.

Love it for two reasons, 1, open bigotry lost and that’s great, 2, it’s given the tories a mass of false hope that’s going to be glorious to see deflate when Khan wins reelection.

Hopefully this result is copied in the general and that venomous bigot on the Labour benches loses her seat the same way

Is that really the "transphobic" thing about which people were whinging?

It's literally nothing.

Oliver_W 19-01-2024 01:14 PM

It appears there's more to it than the locals reacting to rather mild tweets:

Liking this post was more of an issue

Hackney is also a large BAME area, and I have no doubt they also didn't appreciate being used as a counter punch to a different kind of bigotry to racism.

I wasn't aware of her liking that tweet.

Any kind of statehood should be dependent upon the removal Hamas, and a proper election in Palestine. Though there's a lot of turkeys voting for Christmas around, so they'd probably elect them (or something similar) right back in.

What does "banning swords" mean?

I know plenty of people who have decorative swords, but they're blunt and couldn't be used as weapons.
(Apart from maybe a bludgeon)

banning anything is a joke these days because it's always available on the dark web. If they mean it is an offence to carry a sword, then it is also meaningless unless the police have the right to stop and search, which won't happen

Not the type on someone's wall.
Its new Swords from Asia
bought online.

A Mother is angry it is not on the Conservative list,

Her Son was stabbed through his Heart
and died,
By a sword, bought online.

The killer was after someone else.

Same place.

On SkyNewsHD & BBCnewsHD

Ch5HDnews
was at that Labour event.
Top Reporter, Andy Bell said Business Leaders
had to pay £1,000 each to be at that event.

Ch4HDnews Reported,
400 Business Leaders all paid £1,000
to be there.

Sounds to me,
very much like New Labour.
