There are quite a few good programmes on sky this week too, NFL - finding Giants & a programme on the top 10 draft moments.

Yeah I'll be giving it a watch tonight, never seen the Pro Bowl before. The forum was up again last night for a bit, I have finally been converted & will be sticking with the Packers

Drew. 25-01-2015 11:01 PM

Lets see what this Pro Bowl is all about then

It'll feel even sweeter & will turn out to be a great decision when SB 50 is won

Drew. 25-01-2015 11:16 PM

It was painful choosing them & turning down the Ravens & Luck though.

Drew. 26-01-2015 04:02 AM

Watched the Pro Bowl until half time before the tennis started.. pretty disappointed really. No real excitement involved with players putting about 25% of the normal effort in. Makes you appreciate the real games a lot more.

Odell Beckham though >>>. I'm so **** when it comes to decisions.. Sky showing season highlights of teams and key plays from players throughout the season tonight making me unsure i should even go with the Packers. I'm admitting defeat that i'll never decide.

BBfanUSA 27-01-2015 03:39 PM

Beckham is the next breakout star in the NFL. Hopefully he does kinda keep himself grounded a bit. There's nothing wrong with a bit of ego but too much is a bad thing (Ochocinco for example)

Trying to see if there's going to be any watch parties for this sunday that any of my friends are hosting.

Last year was a blast. One of my friends was a Broncos fan and she screamed bloody murder anytime something went wrong. I even called that the first play was a fumble too I think.

The Media Day is today though, pretty sure Deflategate is going to be a huge topic even though I think it's not a huge factor and the NFL is busting the Patriots because they're the Patriots.

Drew. 27-01-2015 05:18 PM

This media day is pretty interesting so far. Safe to say after watching Cleveland 95 & Listening to Belichick talking i'll be backing him and the Pats this weekend.. For one weekend only.

Drew. 27-01-2015 06:28 PM

I’m just here so I won’t get fined

BBfanUSA 27-01-2015 06:41 PM

I read that it costs 33 bucks just to watch people covering media day in the arena they're hosting it

Lynch hates the media.

EDIT: Holy hell, said I'm just here so I won't get fined 29 times in his 5 minutes of availability.

BBfanUSA 28-01-2015 01:20 PM

LOL, he calls the refs Newcastle fans

Drew. 28-01-2015 04:05 PM

**** sakes :joker: "Whats Shearer coming to say now"

Drew. 28-01-2015 04:26 PM

People saying he's a future Pro Bowler & HOF player.. As well as having Donte Moncrief. Colts are looking good.

BBfanUSA 29-01-2015 12:06 AM

Key and Peele Football Names Skit with actual NFL players

BBfanUSA 31-01-2015 12:31 PM

Aaron Hernandez's trial is going on right now. Apparently the jury has been allowed to watch the game but have been advised to avoid any time Hernandez is mentioned. Also Hernandez himself is not allowed to watch the Super Bowl.

Drew. 01-02-2015 12:07 PM

The hotdogs and beers are in for tonight

Jemal 01-02-2015 12:09 PM

Seahawks should win unless the balls are inflated.

BBfanUSA 01-02-2015 12:47 PM

Brain is saying Seattle will win, Gut is saying Pats, and I'm rooting for the Pats.

Halftime show performer is Katy Perry, Lenny Kravitz is showing up and a mystery performer is as well. Speculated to be either Britney Spears or Missy Elliot.

Fun Fact, The Last Time the Pats played a SB in Phoenix, This happened

Also NFL handed out their year end awards last night.
MVP was Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay (They take amazing feats like leading a team on the field while injured into the mix)
Offensive Player of the Year was Demarco Murray, WR, Dallas Cowboys
Defensive Player of the Year was J.J. Watt, DE, Houston Texans
Coach of the Year was Bruce Arians, Arizona Cardinals (Faced alot of Adversity thanks to a bunch of QBs getting hurt for the season. Still finished above .500 and made the playoffs)
And play of the year was course this by Giants' WR Odell Beckham Jr.

Brother Leon 01-02-2015 01:42 PM

**** half time performer tbh. When does this start? I read 23:30? Feels early,no?

BBfanUSA 01-02-2015 01:53 PM

It says 17:30 my time. I think that's when it usually starts.

There's a giant snowstorm today and it's supposed to end around like 9 PM. Still hope to go grab some pizza to watch for the big game.

If you want to watch the American Feed, the commentary will be Al Micheals and Cris Collinsworth. SNF on NBC crew.

Think so yeah, obviously coverage starts way before though.. think sky have got some american tv coverage building up to it all day

BBfanUSA 01-02-2015 01:59 PM

Yep, NBC is airing stuff all day. Celeb interviews, concerts, a few docs, analysts, etc. A couple other channels are airing programming as well. There's a kitten bowl and a puppy bowl.

Papa John's is doing a special today for the big game here in the us but I don't have any in my town where I live.

Drew. 01-02-2015 02:03 PM

It never used to be a big deal over here, now it's trending in the UK on twitter all day and a ton of people are talking about it with loads of tv coverage, time for us to create an NFL league over here

BBfanUSA 01-02-2015 03:27 PM

Kinda the same situation for the Champs League final. It gets alot of attention over here every year and is broadcasted over free TV every year.

Fox sends their own crew over too for the game.
