The league owners approved rule changes regarding PATs 30-2 with Oakland and Washington being the 2 opposers.

Hall of Fame induction ceremony is this weekend, the first preseason game is also contested in Canton, OH, where the hall of fame is located.

WR/Returner Tim Brown (LA/Oakland Raiders for 15 Years)
DE/LB Charles Haley (49ers/Cowboys, Only player to win 5 Super Bowl Rings)
General Manager Bill Polian (Buffalo, Indianapolis, 6 time NFL Executive of the year)
LB Junior Seau (20 years in the NFL, 12 time pro bowler, Defensive Player of the year 1992. Committed suicide in the last couple years or so due to depression that is to believed to be related to the whole Concussion issue NFL has had recently. In his will he wanted his daughter to be doing his induction speech. NFL originally didn't allow that but then changed their mind)
G Will Shields (14 Years with the Chiefs)
C Mick Tinglehoff (17 Years with the Vikings)
Executive Ron Wolf (23 years of experience with Raiders and later Packers)

I think Brett Farve might be eligible next year but I'm not sure. He was inducted into the Green Bay Hall of Fame this year though...despite sigining with the Vikings

So uh, Geno Smith is out 6-10 weeks with a broken jaw thanks to a player punching him in the Jets locker room today.

Update on Tom Brady's 4 Game Ban in Deflategate: It's been overturned so as of right now, he'll play on Thursday vs Steelers, which is the first game of the season, night game.

ESPN's Outside The Lines, which is an investigative show, has uncovered some new info about Spygate. Another cheating scandal that Patriots were involved in and oh boy, it's incriminating for Roger Goodell.
