He's a great actor. Didn't like him at first, but now he's my favourite. I love how complex he is. And Jay is the only one who gets him.

It is mad that Stacey has been on the show since 2004. Nearly 15 years. We've watched her grow from a gobby teen to a gobby mother :love:

@Ashley Stacey was one of the main puzzle pieces in Dens murder

Spoiler:

She used her alibi to protect Zoe but Sam was sent to prison because of it, as this took the attention away from Chrissie she wanted Stacey to keep things the way it was and even offered her money. Sharon was on Stacey's case as were the Mitchells - including Grant!

The biggest problem with this plot is that Phil is going to recover and the show will move on from this story long before Lacey Turner finishes her maternity leave so... why would she continue to stay away if she's got away with it?

Maybe a mid-maternity leave return to go to jail and come back a year/18 months later?
