There's gonna be a Dvd

For the Circus Tour.

I'm sorry I totally forgot to talk to you bout that after my show in Paris, the second night. There was this guy (Alex) that went to every Britney show, that met a friend of mine, and she stayed with him and they both met Britney. It was filmed, the staff said it will be for the Dvd.

So that's logical.

M X 07-08-2009 08:50 PM

Ooohh.. France would be good! But she'll be brunette!

Britney has won VMA for best Cheography for Circus at the austrailen MTV vmas

M X 08-08-2009 11:41 AM

Yeah I know, congrats Brit! Andre accepted the award on her behalf!!

And it's official: the entire Australian leg has now sold out.

MarkWaldorf 08-08-2009 11:56 AM

Woop!!

M X 08-08-2009 12:18 PM

The sales for Australia have been outstanding. The Perth show sold out within minutes which made them add a second date. Then all the Melbourne show's sold out, then all the Sydney shows and when Brisbane was 81% sold out three weeks ago, they added a second one because of the strong sales. Then they both sold out.

Yay! Well done Britney! x

The hype is because she has never toured Australia before!

xDramatick 08-08-2009 02:21 PM

Christina played 'I'm A Slave 4 U' on her radio station

so that's 'Toxic' and 'Slave' she's played so far of Britney's.

THIS IS THE ONLY LEGEND OF THIS GENERATION!!!!!

Britney Jean Spears (born December 2, 1981) is an American singer, dancer, songwriter, actress and author. She has sold over 85 million records worldwide according to Zomba Label Group.

The Pop princess: Britney Spears is the first female pop star since Madonna who has managed to influence so many people of all ages in the pop scene world wide. Britney launched to the pop dome with her debut album Baby One More Time (1999). The album hit the Billboard charts at #1 and sold 125 thousand copies on its first week on the market. It consequently went platinum seven times after seven months.

Raised in Kentwood, Louisiana, Spears first appeared on national television in 1992 as a contestant on the Star Search program, and went on to star in Disney Channel's television series The New Mickey Mouse Club from 1993 to 1994. In 1997, Spears signed a recording contract with Jive, releasing her debut album ...Baby One More Time in 1999. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 , and established her as a pop icon and "bona fide pop phenomenon", credited for influencing the revival of teen pop in the late 1990s.[2] Her next three albums also debuted at number one. In December 2008, her sixth studio album, Circus, was released.

According to Zomba Label Group and Sony BMG, Spears has sold over 85 million records worldwide.[3][4] In addition, she is ranked as the eighth best-selling female recording artist in the U.S. with 32 million sold albums certified by the RIAA,[5] and is currently the fifth best selling artist act of the decade in the country.[6] Spears is also ranked by Forbes 2009 issue as the 13th most powerful celebrity with over $35 million dollars in earnings this year.[7]

Legacy

Britney Spears became a pop culture icon immediately after launching her recording career. Rolling Stone magazine wrote: "One of the most controversial and successful female vocalists of the 21st century," she "spearheaded the rise of post-millennial teen pop ... Spears early on cultivated a mixture of innocence and experience that broke the bank".[178] She is listed by the Guinness World Records as having the "Best-selling album by a teenage solo artist" for her debut album ...Baby One More Time which sold over thirteen million copies in the United States.[179] Melissa Ruggieri of the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported, "She's also marked for being the best-selling teenage artist. Before she turned 20 in 2001, Spears sold more than 37 million albums worldwide".[180] Barbara Ellen of The Observer reported: "Spears is famously one of the 'oldest' teenagers pop has ever produced, almost middle aged in terms of focus and determination. Many 19-year-olds haven't even started working by that age, whereas Britney, a former Mouseketeer, was that most unusual and volatile of American phenomena — a child with a full-time career. While other little girls were putting posters on their walls, Britney was wanting to be the poster on the wall. Whereas other children develop at their own pace, Britney was developing at a pace set by the ferociously competitive American entertainment industry".[181] 'Britney Spears' has been Yahoo!'s most popular search term for the last four consecutive years, seven times in total.[182] Spears was named as Most Searched Person in the Guinness World Records book edition 2007 and 2009. vh1 ranked her as #3 on their show 100 greatest teen stars.[183] Bebo Norman and Busted both wrote songs about Spears called "Britney". [184].

People magazine and MTV reported that on October 1, 2008, Bronx's John Philip Sousa Middle School, named their music studio in honor of Britney Spears.[185] Spears herself was present during the ceremony and donated $10,000 dollars to the school's music program.

Britney Spears is one of the best-selling and most famous artists in the world.
