"It's A Boy Girl Thing"

Watched this absolute gem on Netflix. I am very ill and it required zero thought. A solid B% out of 5.

..yeah, heart-breaking but beautiful, Lucas...

Spoiler:

...how safe he felt in that room even with all of his fears because he had his mother with him always/always in his sight and so long as he had that, he had everything that his 'reality head' was aware of there being in existence...

I had the kitchen sparkling yesterday and even steamed the floor. I wrr a gud boy. Don't be jealous just because you don't have the strength of mind to appreciate a hollywood great such as "It's a Boy Girl Thing"... once you have more appreciation for the arts, you too will come to realise that it's "body-swapping brilliant".

..I only have one thing to say to art appreciation in times of illness...72 hours of Movies 24 or you don't even know what art is and steaming the kitchen floor will be a meaningless chore in your life...

Prisoners - All the actors were brilliant especially Jake Gyllenhaal, Hugh Jackman was brilliant (as always) but Jake gave an Oscar worthy performance, a fabulous taught thriller that delves into every parents worst nightmare.......10/10

Love Jake. I first saw him on Donnie Darko and thought he was one to watch.

Plot synopsis:

Quote:

Liam Neeson is Bob Smith, a record breaking marathon runner pushing 60 who has run 20 miles every night since he was a teenager. But now, his doctor (Morgan Freeman) has told him that he has an age related heart concern, and he must stop running, or face the inevitable. With one last big race coming up, will Bob take his doctor's advice? Or will he, one last time... Run All Night.

"Tear-jerking" - The Guardian

"A thoroughly thought provoking, and surprisingly humorous, examination of the issues surrounding aging" - The Times

"A laugh-out-loud Boomer Bromance!" - The Sun

I've gotten myself interested though, I want to see my film...

user104658 10-03-2016 11:17 AM

There'd have to be an "older" love interest, too. A supposedly 50 year old woman, played by a 42 year old actress who looks 30.
