I wasn't too bothered who won the league. I guess i'd have preferred City over Liverpool if i had to choose. I certainly don'f feel bad for Liverpool though, they've done us in 2 finals this season!!

They didn't really do you. They didn't beat you at playing football, they won a couple of penalty shoot-outs which is basically a lottery or spin of a coin.

I suppose. 2 really bad pens in both finals from us though.

Calderyon 22-05-2022 05:40 PM

Congratulations Manchester City. You deserved it. (Liverpool would have also had they won)

Well done Tottenham on getting 4th place and a place in CL.

Good Job Leeds on saving yourselves from relegation. (although Newcastle helped you quite a bit)

I noticed that .. he somehow forgot to add on the time wasted by Foden and Emerson who were both down after the 4 minute board went up

When did Everton last win a trophy? They can barely win a game now adays

Zizu 22-05-2022 05:45 PM

It may help Liverpool in the CL final now ..

They can go out all guns blazing to end the season on a high note plus no worries about the quadruple

Gerrard blaming Pep for Villa's keeper being assaulted??? Ok it's wrong, of course, but why Pep? Salty, much?!

I blame the very rich Premier League and Football association executives that could easily pay for a large Police presence that could stop pitch invasions but they choose not to.

Yep, certainly agree with that. Not Pep's fault though.

They only have to do it for a few certain games near the end of season. It's not hard to tell the games where the invasions have the potential to take place.

What a day that was, you really couldn't write it

I think all results were fair in the end - City have been the best team this season, Burnley have barely been out of the bottom 3 all year, Arsenal don't deserve 4th and well we bottled it massively but our season had been going that way tbh, United have been better over the whole campaign

Looking forward to away days in Slovenia in the Conference League next season

can also be nice to be considered a frontrunner in that european cup :)

but not the least teams in that

Italy's Fiorentina, Spain's Villarreal (whom were recent europa league winners) Germany has FC Koln

Belgium has former top team Anderlecht

we dutch got FC Twente, and then one of AZ or Vitesse (whoever wins play off for the last ticket)

Scotland with Motherwell, Dundee United

Romania's Steaua Bucharest another familiar club name with lots of history

MTVN 23-05-2022 08:36 AM

Yeah there's probably not actually much in it in terms of standard between the Europa and Conference League, especially once you get to knockout stage. The two teams in the Conference League final this year are arguably better than both teams who were in the Europa final last week

it is the home sides responsibility (in this case city) to ensure there are enough police to control the crowd safely. They failed miserably

It shouldn't be no clubs responsiblity it should be the responsibility of the organisers of the fixtures. The guests wouldn't be responsible for a party it would be the organisers.
