After Shock is my favourite spirit but I never go out and it costs like 40 quid a bottle which is madness compared to 20 quid average for the usual large bottle of spirits.

It's lovely though. I have shotted a full bottle last xmas eve watching Fantastic Mr. Fox. That stands out as a really great memory to me now.

Drinking + Xmas = Win. Can't wait for it this year.

I'm male, haha.

Males can have boyfriends or are you really actually from the 70's?

The first thing I ask at a club bar is what are the offers lol

Charges (there - another irritation) for things such as alcopops. Once went to a club and got charged (I kid not) about £7.50 for two bottles. They nearly wore 'em

I cannot touch southern comfort since I drank a bottle straight when feeling down one day when younger and spent the next day throwing up.

Even the smell makes me ill :/

Rum for me. Ugh

My dad just got back from a course he was on down south somewhere. Him and the other lads on the course went out down there. They ordered 4 jaggerbombs. And he said they were charged £35 :bored:

I was inferring that you were a woman off the back of your alcohol habits. Or purported alcohol habits.

It's not that hard to figure out, is it?

Seriously it was awesome. I was probably posting that night too. I want to go back and search those posts now. It's a shame you can't search by date.

My mam and sister woke me at 2PM next day for Xmas dinner and my bedsheets were covered in silver nail varnish.

I always make the mistake of getting wankered and saying 'hey, whats this? no nail varnish? I'll have to put some on!'.

Disaster.

Don't. I've been craving winter/autumn/Xmas all day

Vicky. 04-08-2011 12:40 AM

There always seems to be endless baileys at my parents house at xmas

And asti. Asti is actually nice, as long as you dont have it often.

Boothy 04-08-2011 12:41 AM

I liked the Christmas ales Weatherspoon's did last year. I tried quite a few of those.

Yeah I want it to be the pre-xmas build up already :(

Summer is overrated :hmph:

Kerry 04-08-2011 12:41 AM

Couldn't drink Baileys either. I'm so cheap

My usual line of thought is that summer is almost over. Then September ... whatever. Boring month. But once that's over it's straight to Halloween pretty much. And that's the last thing before Xmas.

I'll already consider the road to Xmas open come October. I can't wait.
