Brother Leon 23-04-2013 04:29 PM

Time for Fergie to sign Bastian. The Gotze signing proves the being forced out rumours are true.

King Gizzard 23-04-2013 04:40 PM

They don't play in the same position :joker: He is a God to Bayern fans anyway

Forced out?

And if we signed Schweinsteiger I'd eat my keyboard. Really hope it happens. Don't mind eating a keyboard if it meant we got Bastian. Won't happen though, so I'm safe.

Brother Leon 23-04-2013 05:27 PM

The German equals to Daily Mirror and Sun etc report it as far as I know tbf.

Drew. 23-04-2013 05:54 PM

Manchester City are closing in on in-demand Napoli frontman Edinson Cavani after agreeing in principle terms with the player over a summer move.

I agree, plus his mate Lavezzi is there and will be convinced by their project.

bbfan1991 24-04-2013 11:50 AM

Mario Gomez being linked with Chelsea now? It looks like Chelsea are already signing Andre Schurrle...

Ryan57 24-04-2013 12:59 PM

Really hope he goes to PSG.

Probably just a bit frustrated because he wanted to finish the match. I still think that WR will be at United next season.

Danny Welbeck needs to improve his goal record though and finishing.

their signings last year were a fail, last minute options as they failed on their targets.. expect it to be different this summer

bbfan1991 24-04-2013 01:37 PM

They have lots of money wasted on fringe players still at the club or on loan, so it looks like a big clear out will happen.

Arsenal will definitely have one too, if they are to finally have some ambition than targeting a top four finish, which has been the case the last few seasons.

Drew. 24-04-2013 01:41 PM

we have so many players at the club out on loan or not playing on high wages, Arshavin for example.. massive clear out is needed and a few big signings are also needed.

Arsenal are definitely a club that can attract players, but the truth is most will be tempted by United/City/Chelsea currently due to wages and ambition.

I know Arsenal fans blame RVP for going and mainly the way he went about it, but the facts are if your board had more ambition then you might have been able to keep some of those players that left.

we will never sign your typical world class players like Cavani or Falcao due to their prices and they are the type of players united and city would be interested in.. but there are plenty of class players out there like Jovetic for instance who we definitely have a chance of signing if Wenger puts his hand in his pocket and spends. Iv learnt to never have high hopes with signings anymore tho, its a shame

I agree. Jovetic would be a good signing, rumours are City were interested in him too?

One negative I think about Wenger is that he is too stubborn and the reason why SAF is miles ahead of him is a Manager is that winning mentality and the ability to reinvent himself and the club he represents with the times.
