I thought that, that if I were ever going to go for a run I'd need a music source pumping Gatecrasher compilations into my brain but alas I never did get around to exercising of any kind.

It's only when I'm really struggling to get motivated. Usually it's no bother but sometimes music can actually help to numb the pain.... you just fall into a rhythm more easily and part of the mind switches off. Wonderful feeling actually.

Absoloutely. Different kinds of music are no different to different kind of drugs in the sense that they have definate neurological effects on the brain.
