I'm guessing that you may have missed the crucial part being: the origin of the Black Americans who lived in deep southern counties, where do you think they came from, it sure wasn't Alaska. Slaves were brought in from all sorts of countries: West Indian ones included as well as Africa.

I don't know if the twins would have went in as just John and Edward but since Jedward is their brand from a business point of view and managed that is what C5 had booked them for because of their ability to divide opinion and annoy;).

All incidents of them being hyperactive robots.

I dont quite know what you are trying to prove here :conf:

I want to see them be real for once, show a bit of human emotion. Its got to happen, yet we dont see it.

I still have a strong suspicion that Jedward are tacitly encouraged to be as manic as possible.

I dont' disagree with your suspicions. What it does evoke though, is intense dislike for that type of 'act' - certainly in my case - and does nothing to make me like them.

As long as they are out there raking the readies in: my thoughts are a mere blip in the ocean of nothingness !!!

Awh come on Vicky.... show a sense of fairness. The wee souls threw a wee strop, had their wee joint huff after Eggsgate, when they got called into the diary room and (presumably) were told off. tee hee.... :) :) ;) I agree btw!!

The more I think about it: the more I think that may indeed be WHY they had the petted lips on: they've been told to go manic: and when they did and went overboard, they got told off.

CaudleHalbard 04-09-2011 04:59 PM

I too would like to see them acting more normally - maybe we'll see something of that tonight.

I know, thats why I really want this to be shown. Show a different side to them for once. Everyone gets mad sometimes, its natural. Noone can be how they are 24/7.

And I think they may have been in a huff when they came out of the diary room...because they had got a warning for(possibly) aggressive behaviour. Now that might sound laughable, that jedward could be aggressive, but imagine if Paddy/Darryn/insert other big-ish mans name here had done the same. People would be SCREAMING aggressive bully, get him out

BIB...you are so right, this would have happened.

On the possibility of them having been told to act manic, then getting told off for when it got out of hand... in a way: I'd actually sympathise a little - as they would have been doing what they had been asked.... and it falling into the ''cant do right for doing wrong'' category.

Seeing a bit less of the Jedward Act and more of the individual guys, could (could, not promising anything !), change people's views on them...

In the first week, one of them pulled a large plastic container full of somethign like coleslaw from the fridge - opened the lid, and just about poured it out all over the floor - he tilted the container, it began dripping out and he let it.... stood there and let it then threw the container on the floor beside the mess. Not only did he allow the full contents to spill out, he then chucked the lid down beside the rest of the mess.

he then went away: left it, for him and is brother to continue their attention seeking Jedward faux interview show - in which I think Lucien, amy and Bobby sat there and watched..... with the twins having their shoes/clothes spread all over the palce.

Despite being told to clean the mess up, it was left for ages... until poor Kerry came along and did it;.

Didn't Kerry have to lose the rag with them only the other night with the mess they had made - having to TELL them to get it cleaned up,.
...... as well as the Kitchen task.

they have no respect of anyone or anyone's belongings in their. None

Right !! they left the coleslaw, they left the task kitchen after flooding it and dumping everything on the floor, they are vandals ,and should NOT be classed as funny or entertaining

Spot on ,if Paddy had done what they have (Amys bikini bottoms for one thing) or stole or trashed or pushed people about he would be called a bully, but its ok because Jedward are "kids" NO ITS NOT

On that note: you are correct. They are legally adults - not kids. If Paddy or Darryn would have done that - they'd have been branded all the perv under the sun. Plus far as Jedward are concerned, there are always 2 of them - which may be viewed as intimidating. ...... ;)

:D
I'm having a laff on the intimidating bit.... just stretching it out for effect. Mwwwhhaaa haaaaa !!!

Big questions will need to be asked if they don't show us this incident on the HLs.

Now..I usually love your posts, but I'm not entirely sure who is going to be asking the big questions, who they are going to address them to or why anyone would think that Ch5 would even bother answering.

I agree. They are adult enough to be making a career out of this behaviour etc. If they are adult enought to cause willful damage etc: they are adult enought to take the consequences: even if that means a telling off.

Thing is though: have BB deliberately instructed them to act up like they've OD on LSD? if so, they are following instructions: which would piss me off if I did what I was told but then got told off for it.

I have actually quite often wondered..if Lucien behaved in the same was as Jedward, would that be dismissed as him just being a kid. Given that hes actually younger than Jedward.

There is a thread on this at DS also, and on that one Lucien has been accused of only joining in to steal Jedwards airtime. No mention of the fact that he might have just wanted to join in with the 'kids' fun.

If Lucien decided to randomly start throwing food round, I very much doubt it would be took in the same spirit as Jedwards antics. I hope I would be wrong on that one though

I would hate to think they had been told to behave like thugs

CaudleHalbard 04-09-2011 05:44 PM

It is interesting that Lucien, who is a few months younger than Jedward, addressed them as "Boys" when he apologised.

Whatever their calendar age, boys is how they are perceived. Their physical appearance adds to this impression.
