Matthew nailed it tonight... he should be brilliant on the ultimate skills test next week too... I would worry if I was a Jorgie supporter, here weaknesses are starting to show while Matthew just gets stronger and stronger :worship:

joeysteele 11-03-2012 10:57 PM

Really surprised Robin Cousins saved Chico, fully expected him to save Chemmy again.

Visage 12-03-2012 07:26 AM

I think Louie has lost the plot and did he say 6.5 is a great score?

Chico is Working Harder

The Public, though do not seem to like him

I am not so sure that the public don't like Chico. I think last nights two in the skate off was pretty much an easy one to predict. Last week Chico near the bottom because of the team challenge changing the board probably spurred people on to vote for him as they were worried he might be in the skate off and go, This week he was near the top and Jorgie bottom, which could have spurred a massive surge in votes for worried fans of Jorgie and otyhers thinkinh Chico would be safe because of his board position didn't vote so strongly this week. Matt I think has the strongest fan base, and I suspect could well win this series. Jen is probably pretty much riding on Dan's popularity coattails and the bringing in of her littleun probably ensured some awww votes also. CXhemmy doesn't seem popular in the voting and so struggles to stay out of the skate off. So I fully expected a Chico and Chemmy bottom two last night, and wasn't sure Chico would survive it when the choice was left to Robin. However I would rather have seen Jen go over Chemmy.

I am pretty sure Matt won't be in the bottom two next week, if it's Chico and Jen, then I should think Chico would be pretty much safe for the finals. If it's a Chico and Jorgie Skate off though, not sure which way that would go. Best outcome for me would be if Jorgie and Jen were bottom two and Jen went. Because if those two were bottom two, in all honesty I wouldn't be that bothered which of those two went.

GypsyGoth 12-03-2012 12:13 PM

Chemmy had to go, it wouldn't have been fair if the judges kept saving her.

bbfan1991 12-03-2012 03:11 PM

Jorgie has been doing rather well in the voting throughout me thinks. Matt W is great and they are friends off the rink but I would love to see Jorgie win:).

The bias towards chemi and matthew is now obvious. Matthew never goes on first, while Robin must have just finished his affair with chemi after HAVING to vote her off :spin: And louis, what can u do with a ribbon that jorgie didn't do, eh?? Don't answer that, u prat!!!

Correct. Plus she was a big headed git.

Mystic Mock 13-03-2012 05:33 PM

I like Jorgie but she was bad this week due to the prop she got,Matthew got the best time slot and routine as usual,it's so obvious that they want him to win it's becoming annoying for me.

This has, I think been the worst series of D.O.I. that I have watched, too many twists and the bias from the judges has spoiled it for me.
I thought at least 3 of this years props were rather poor too.

I think this year started off with promise but I agree with you that blatent rigging has ruined this series, also Louie Spence is a prick that's putting me off the show.

I didn't mind Louis at first but as the series has gone on he is really not the person to be on this show. I used to enjoy the ice panels comments before but now I am just glad when they have finished talking.

Yeah a ribbon looked the easiest prop but lets face there is not much you can do with it on ice. Jorgie can only do the choreography that is given to her and on that week T&D failed her, their responsibility and if they fail to listen to the Judges then it is their fault.

Everyone knows that Jorgie can dance but they want to see more skating, she has proved in a couple of her routines that she is capable of that, but she does not get enough of it in the routines that are planned for her.

Kate! 15-03-2012 12:29 PM

I have to agree the props weren't up to much, I would have liked to have seen Jorgie get the chair, they've had that in a couple of previous series. A ribbon's just an insult really, but despite the blatant sabotage she sailed through anyway. I like all the final four, at least they are all really good skaters and no-one's made it through just on popularity/comedy value. It'll be sad to see someone go this week, I feel it's pretty certain to be Jen or Chico, unless there's a massive upset.

Mystic Mock 15-03-2012 07:35 PM

The public never vote differently to the judges so it will be a Jorgie and Matthew final 2 with Matthew winning.
