are you missing the very obvious here and doing so quite deliberately? Both Michael and Denise are married. Michael quite happily so as he stated very early on. Denise is well known for wanting and seeking male attention: if she interprets a friendly gesture as some sort of come on, it's not just therapy for her drinking and her aggression she needs.

It's not two young randy teenagers you're talking about here.

Tbf I think Denise did misinterpret the massage...he was trying to strangle her

I don't know if he's violent or not. I was just being led to believe that because there was a poster who suggested that he was actually strangling her.
