So you think just because there isn't a war going on in this country that the Army aren't stretched at the minute or have other plans? do you not watch the news? i don't even know why you think this is a matter for the Army

There was a massive volunteer search earlier, huge numbers of police have been scouring the area the last 2 days, they've arrested a man and have now focused on 20 different locations which different police teams are searching.. They're doing all they can.

no you are right to say the family home as it will rule them out or at least the house

the police are not looking so food now are there :hmph:

Resources need to be spread and you can't expect the Army to leave their duty and help look for a missing 5 year old girl

The army would be of no use anyway, the volunteers were asked to stop searching last night incase it interfered with the police search, having the army all over the place would be no good, so the army argument is completely pointless.

wrong the army are trained the general public are not!
you makeing it soud like the army would just run around like headless chickens they would work with the police not against them.

No I don't make it sound like anything, no matter what the army are trained in they would still affect the helicopters search just like everyone else.

And I'm following this thread to find out about April not to get into a ridiculous debate about the army vs police.
