Oh well it was never that amazing anyway... ;)

Jake. 12-11-2012 07:52 PM

So, Mollie and Kate gave their own little conclusions, but the opinion we care about most is that of Lord Shugrr's :)

Benjamin 12-11-2012 07:54 PM

Pffft, I put all my effort into our game. :(

Jake. 12-11-2012 07:54 PM

Here is what he had to say about team Prospects game:
'I like the whole zombie theme and it's obviously all quite creative and interesting and everything, but I was keeping updated by reading your thread every now and again and just facepalming at the similarities to my own game :/ In the end you shifted away from this... but then came up with, I apologise, but a very confusing and muddled format. I honestly can't make a head or tail of your "how players are eliminated" section... there's something about points and battles and redemption?

It just all felt like a bit of a tribute to some of DrunkerThanMoses' favourite movies. I'm also a bit embarrassed and saddened by some of your attempts to rubbish the other team's efforts... it was pretty cheap of you.

One thing I will say in your defence is that I liked that you went to the effort of designing a forum award, application form and signature - even if the font on the signature is one of the most garish and disgusting fonts that exist.'

no it was very good, well done :)

Jake. 12-11-2012 07:56 PM

So all in all, Shugrr wasn't too impressed to the game mainly due to similarities it had to the game he released on the Spectrum in 1983

Jake. 12-11-2012 07:57 PM

Here's what he had to say about Pioneers 'The Amazing Race':

Clearly, a lot of effort has been put into coming up with tasks and at the end of the day these are the crucial factor in a forum game. The graphics were also quite nice, and I like the idea of a TIBB game where members partner up for a change.

I went into this task pretty much believing Ben would be able to pull off this task single-handedly given his history, and I've got to say he met expectations and surpassed them, pretty much doing the entire task by himself... I'm really disappointed by the efforts of some of the other team members, and am tempted to fail them for this, but at the end of the day I just have to pick which game I think I would be more interested in, and that's this one.

Just kidding of course if I had to choose which game I'd love to play it would obviously be Pioneer's, some very intelligent ideas went into the making of it

Jake. 12-11-2012 07:58 PM

So despite being disappointed with the general effort team-wise, he was thrilled by Ben's efforts and ideas, awarding them the win.

Maia 12-11-2012 07:59 PM

Well done of course very well deserved :pipe:

Josiah. 12-11-2012 08:01 PM

-claps and cheers-

Jake. 12-11-2012 08:02 PM

Now, lets go over who recieved the most nominations in each team!

Jake. 12-11-2012 08:04 PM

Kazenne recieved 3 votes (and another due to not voting), and Jamie585 grabbed 3, meaning both will face the boardroom for team Prospect.

Jake. 12-11-2012 08:06 PM

On Pioneers side of things, Lee (5 noms) and Locke (4 noms) will face the Boardroom.

Jake. 12-11-2012 08:08 PM

What do we make of these results?

Kate! 12-11-2012 08:10 PM

A little bird tells me that Lord ShuGrr may be ready to reveal himself, no.sorry, reveal the results. On this show. :amazed:

Benjamin 12-11-2012 08:11 PM

Benjamin 12-11-2012 08:12 PM

I got excited there for a second. Thought Lord Shugrr was going to show us his Little Shugrr.
