MS recently improved ESRAM performance in their Development Kits. Also an extra CPU core has been unlocked, provided developers don't use Kinect related features.

Good news that they've vastly improved from their piss poor dev kits that were first available. That played a part in the PS4 pissing on the One's resolution, and other aspects, early on in this generation.

DirectX 12 will also improve things for the One.

Hopefully this keeps Sony on their toes and vice versa in terms of development kits.

What are Microsoft actually doing? Like... there's not been any actual big hits in this whole generation. Biggest game has been Halo 5, which is generally seen as a failure...

I would buy the Xbox One for games like Quantum Break, Gears Of War 4, and Halo 5, but the main issue I've noticed with the Console is alot of their other games I can get on the PS4 so why should I bother buying this console for those games when I can just get those games on a Console that I've already got? And another question that Microsoft needs to answer is why they're not getting more exclusive games in the first place?

It's looking like the Switch is gonna overtake Xbox pretty soon, I honestly have no idea what Xbox are even doing anymore, its like, they brought out the Xbox One X... but have nothing else.
