Under The Dome- 1.13m incl +1. Not too good considering it launched with over 2m didn't it? Blackout at 9pm on Ch4 got 1.77m incl +1, so good to see CBB beat that, and also beat BBC2. |
Very close! Still, this series seems to be time shifting well, and officially I wouldn't be surpised if it averaged a bit more than CBB10
|
1.93m incl +1 for last night in the 10pm slot. It got around a 12% share which is impressive!
|
Great for 10PM!
|
I can't believe it's all over on Friday. Hope the final does well.
|
Great ratings for yesterday
|
Last night got 2.21m incl +1. Very good sign for Friday's final. That 2.21m is the third highest rating this series, just behind launch and last Wednesday which got just 10k extra at 2.22m.
|
Good rating, can see tomorrow hopefully beating that for the first part of the final
|
Great rating for last night :)
|
Not to shabby.
Its a well known thing now that summer CBB doesnt rate that well compared to January. I still think its a waste of money and still kind of want it to fail. Its bitter sweet. I love it when the winter CBB does well but resent summer CBB so much. |
Oh dear...
According to Tellymix...
"The latest series of Celebrity Big Brother 2013 ended to some disappointing viewing figures last night. Around 1.7 million viewers watched who won Celebrity Big Brother 2013 in the second of the night’s show, which aired at 11PM. An average audience of 2.2 million watched the final instalment from the house and first results from 9PM on Channel 5. But 500,000 fewer cared about actually seeing who won between the final two, as ratings dived for the later show. And those figures include those who caught up later using Channel 5′s catchup service. Overall, this year’s Celebrity Big Brother was pretty much in line with last summer’s series, with an average audience of around 2 million viewers. Elsewhere on last night’s telly, and Channel 5′s new reality series Celebrity Superspa, started with 1.1 million inbetween the two Big Brother episodes at 10PM. Everyone knew this failing generation voted for Charlotte to win. So what was the point of tuning back.

I think the latter, tbh. The producer's team needs a serious revamp. |
Lets be honest my reason makes sense imo.
Everyone knew Charlotte was going to win lol. It wasnt like big brother 14 were Sam and Dexter were head to head and anything could of literally happened there. So people tuned in interestingly to see who was gonna win. But with Charlotte and abz (bless him) every single person knew who had won lol. So what was the point. |
I didn't think Charlotte would win. I thought it would be Abz or Lauren. It shouldn't be separated for DIRE shows like that Celebrity superspa. The last part was on too late, and BB has been on far too much these past few years.
If Channel 5 had any respect for the show, they would give it a break for a while now. The focus should be on the show itself, they shouldn't be exploiting it to pull in ratings for other shows. It's suffering for it. |
The final shouldn't be seperated. It worked on channel 4 but not now

So the 1st show only rated slightly higher than BB14 and the 2nd half rated lower? :)
Goodbye Summer CBB and well done normal BB you finally proved you are a force to be reckoned with. |
Has anyone got the ratings for the 8.30pm-9pm countdown show?
|
The ratings were down in the second show because of the stupid hours break, it was the same with BB14 - that second show was down too. Splitting the final by any length is annoying enough but an hour? Casuals won't wait that long.
Even if they do go ahead and cancel summer BB (might not happen, CBB10's ratings weren't as good as the winter editions either) I hope that doesn't mean they stretch out regular BB for a longer run. For me, my perfect schedule would be a 3 week winter CBB and a 6 week summer BB. Keep things short and quick, stop throwing series after series at us and maybe people will be a little more interested again. I didn't even watch most of CBB12 because I couldn't be bothered with it. |
C5 will still be happy, it got good ratings for the channel.
But I agree scrape the summer cbb. It's the only chance Ben Frow has at keeping the show fresh and if anything continue to increase the ratings/share of the show and channel. I'd rather have just the 1 cbb in January hitting around 3million + officially, and a summer bb getting 2million. Then two cbb's, both damaging the other in ratings, and potentially hurting the normal format of bb. With Emma Willis now the host of the voice, I wouldn't be surprised if bb gets a small boost of the back of that. Anyone got the ratings of the 8:30pm countdown show and bbots at 11:35 please. |

Latest CBB official ratings:
Monday 2nd - 2.671m Tuesday 3rd - 2.572m Wednesday 4th 9pm - 2.606m Wednesday 4th 11pm - 1.81m (exc +1) Thursday 5th - 2.307m Friday 6th - 2.321m Saturday 7th - 1.73m (exc +1) Sunday 8th - 2.343m Also, still not found any overnight figures for Friday's final countdown show on its own, but according to Broadcast the countdown and the first part of the final (i.e. 8.30pm-10.00pm) averaged 2.2million (10.3%) |
