That's why I stopped voting for Dexter, his fans became unbearably over confident.

But enjoy the fact Dexter never won :joker:

Would some people prefer it if she totally unravelled and became a gibbering mess? A lot of viewers were concerned that she would have a meltdown - she hasn't - she has held it together consistently. She has the odd wobble and it can be hard to watch - but she tries to remain positive. She's human! She is a good example of turning poison into medicine. She has never once complained and she has never once insulted the viewers by saying she wants to go home. She deserves some credit for that.

big brother is a tv show,it is not a "crèche or convalesant home" for people who are "not well" why was she allowed in ? she is not even a z list celebrity!the only ONE thing that put her in the public eye was the "antique" saga when she was a 10 yr old boy & that was proved to be a con amongst several other "cons" that the whole family were involved in-the rest of the housemates feel OBLIGED not to tread on her toes incase she takes it the wrong way & this is wrong, she is getting preferential treatment & again this is wrong - the woman is a fraud who in the past has NOT held back & insulted many people on their fashion sense!!! coming from her that just about takes the cake !!!! she has pleaded for years to be allowed in & yet obviously is not up to it-had she have been handled "normally" she would have been out long ago

I have to agree with the above and I just don't get her appeal at all. I find myself laughing at her rather than with her and that's sad imo.

Where is the empathy? Lauren has done nothing wrong. Stephen Fry has been suicidal he is still on TV. Lauren has had bricks thrown through her window all of her life. Give her some leeway.

Agreed. She's so funny and a genuinely nice person. That is why she has my vote. :)

I really don't get that comparison at all.

Lauren spoke to someone apparently because she was feeling suicidal.

Most of the Lauren fans have been banging on about how suicidal she was/is and that she deserves it because it will boost her confidence and she's had such a **** life, blah blah blah.

So, it's OK for Lauren to win with they sympathy vote then?

Can you spell hypocrisy????

:joker:

Pincho Paxton 10-09-2013 12:26 PM

Lauren does not get sympathy votes though. It seems the opposite that people hate her for it. She gets votes for being entertaining.

Sorry but IF it was that bad then she should have been removed from the house for her own safety imo.

Then BB become a creator of even worse suicide swings, and put themselves in the line of fire.

but why compare that to Stephen Fry, he hasn't campaigned for years to go on BB, or gone into what everyone describes as a pressure cooker environment. Lauren can't have it both ways..campaign to go in, yet then expect to be treated differently because she has mental issues. I don't blame her I blame the C5, they obviously struggled to get people to go in for this series.

Sorry she will pick up an unhealthy number of sympathy votes.

Lauren wanted to be on TV, she can live her life how she wants. It could actually be good for her anyway. It is the negativity from Charlotte that makes it a bad thing.

Swanny123....well put and I could not agree more. Watching BBBOTS last night saying how 'brave' she was going on there!!!! she's hardly doing it for charity and she has been trying to get on there for 6 years. They probably gave in in the end...mummy probably told Channel 5 they were being biased. Then she probably had all these clauses put into her contract.
Laurens a complete oddity with mental issues...however endearing she might be people forget how spiteful and condescending she was on BB some 2-3 years ago. She is a fake and being given huge advantages in there...very unfair. If she wins it will be the sympathy vote....AGAIN!!!

No proof this happened, just hearsay from someone trying to win a Tv show on pity

The only evidence is that I said that Lauren looked suicidal the night before it happened, and then Vicky said "I am on suicide watch." Then Lauren saw a doctor, or spoke to a family member.

Brave is a passer by running into a burning house to save a child ,not an attention seeker on a tv show, God she makes me sick  demanding she must win because she "needs too" Get over yourself Lauren

Well she has now had the reassurance that she is Favourite to win, so her ploy worked!

You see someone in a van shouting at the house, and you see a hole in the window.

She can be on TV all she likes, just don't go on to a programme where the premise of the show is that it is a mental challenge.
