there was heavy hail here earlier .

lily. 24-12-2013 02:45 PM

Seems to have calmed down here now.. dunno if that's the calm before the storm or if the worst is over.

Marcus. 24-12-2013 05:29 PM

up here we got rain and wind

Ammi 24-12-2013 05:32 PM

..we have no rain today but it's really getting blowy again now, the wind is really fierce...

smudgie 24-12-2013 05:59 PM

Cold, wet and windy again here, the same as last night.

Our poor daughter is without power once again, three days last time.
She had to go and have a shower at a friends house before she coud go to her evening at the Panto.
She should have come home up North for Christmas..all warm and cosy with loads of hot water.

Jessica. 25-12-2013 02:13 PM

We've gotten an orange weather alert here for tomorrow. :bawling:

Jessica. 26-12-2013 08:18 PM

We have a national red alert at the moment, it's so horrible, it was just orange at first but now it's progressing.

I have a really cool Storm watch - bought it in Carnaby Street in their London main shop.

It was a 1997 very limited edition one with 2 little analogue white dials which I can't even pull a picture of. But now worth 3x the £100 it cost way back then.

I'm disappointed this thread is not about my rare watch :-(

Edit - my other Storm watch is rubbish.......I got one from China for £1.99 that is almost as good as this one which someone gave me :-(

the storms and winds here ended early christmas eve, and they came back just after midnight after boxing day, bit weird

Claymores 27-12-2013 02:20 AM

A website that chats about weather is sad - my 1997 Storm watch is beautiful, 2 white little anologue dials

Jessica. 27-12-2013 02:54 AM

Ireland is still very much in the red.

I was travelling on the train home from London yesterday and we had several delays due to flooding. This meant my journey was an extra half hour long.
