The only thing that really taints it for me is Conor being awarded that money.
|
I'd replace 'good' with dull tbh
Lydia left way, way too early, Deana didn't win (I should have appreciated her more at the time), and a final five of Adam and Luke A (the two dullards), Luke S (actually even more pointless than them which is an achievement) and Sara (actually who or what is a Sara, this gets worse) is just appalling |
I think Adam and Sara are really underrated as being bores, Sara was constantly having stupid political rants and falling outs with people and Adam's dunking Arron and massive rows with Shievonne were golden <3
|
Adam and Luke A weren't even dull (definitely not Adam) and the Soldiers as a whole serve as great and necessary protagonists, Sara was great background noise, and as I said in another thread today Luke S was a complete joke even to the producers so it was a-okay with me. Come to think of it, the finalists from BB13 might be my favorite group of finalists? With everyone who was left by like, Week 5 maybe, the only other finalist that would've been good was Lauren.
|
BB7 and BB13 definitely have the best finalists.

Sam is such an underrated hm tbh, though he was more of a situation than a HM who brought drama. The whole of week 3 was pretty much 'HM's turn on Sam week'. |
psh Aisleyne is flawless
|
BB11's finalists are without a doubt the worst but BB13's come close to rivalling that for me
I enjoyed the insiders/outsiders division but I'd much rather that had continued well into the final days. A final five of Deana, Lydia, Arron, Becky and like idk, Benedict? Chris? would've made for drool-worthy drama, it died out in the last few weeks because the people who actually made the divide interesting on both sides had already been evicted |
Nothing comes close to Bb11
|
*shudders*
PEJ is ********* for ruining probably the only opportunity we ever had for a truly unpredictable finale, ironically it would have had the best ever finalists too but instead it had the worst |
Who is PEJ and what did he do and why
|
BB4 and BB9 comes close to BB11.
|
Reece stop with the BB9 hate :nono:
|
Lisa would have won had Darnell not attacked Sara in that eviction week. Ugh
|
13 never really died out though? I was thoroughly entertained all the way through because the divide was about as perfect as it could've been, with the social reject Outsiders stomping out the literal human garbage Insiders. And god knows we all had enough of Becky and Aaron and Chris on our screens. And Benedict delivered for a total of maybe 4 days so not much was missed.
The only group of finalists I can think of that compares to BB13 in greatness for me is BB9 for it's amazing top three, but then I remember that the other two spots were occupied by Rex and Darnell, so no. |

Phil Edgar-Jones, he was the exec producer while the show was on C4 (well, for some series at least, and for BB11)
I'm pretty confident (as were a lot of people at the time) that he came up with the dreadful idea of the quad eviction on a vote to evict, thereby cementing Josie's win as she had absolutely no competition with a houseful of ****ing bores I remember everyone was extremely excited up until that point at the prospect of a battle between Josie's, Sam's, John James' and Corin's fans for the title as they all had massive fanbases and it would have been really unpredictable (except Steve in 5th obv), plus they'd have all been deserving but instead we had the worst few highlights shows I think I've ever had to sit through and the most undeserving, painstakingly tedious finalists in the history of any reality TV show. Once the quad eviction was announced everyone knew the inevitable we were facing and it was time to give up |
Oh what a ****
Also ew Sam was terrible |
Let's be real, the true travesty of the quad eviction was trying to sell John James as 6th place despite getting 9th place votes.
|
BB1 - 9
BB2 - 9 BB3 - 11 BB5 - 17 BB6 - 17 BB7 - 19 BB8 - 15 BB9 - 8 + BB10 - 14 - BB13 - 13 BB14 - 7 --------------------------- 12th - BB4 13th - BB12 14th - BB11 |
Sam singlehandedly saved the last two weeks, it reached a total stalemate and I remeber everyone on here and DS were calling for them to stick Sam in after he was rejected by the housemates in that ridiculously stupid 'get the housemates to pick the newbies' twist (christ there were so many awful 'twists' that year) where they obviously all picked the dullest ones to benefit them, and then when someone left (was it Laura? one of the most pointless housemates of all time) and they announced someone would replace her everyone was calling for him and it happened, and then he put some life back into the final weeks before he was evicted
Whether you liked him or not, a battle between Sam, John James, Josie and Corin who all had the biggest fanbases would have been far more interesting than what we actually got |
The quad evic destroyed BB11, would've been so much better without the final we had.

Am I allowed to go there and say that Laura was more relevant than JJ?

They left the casuals hoping he'd survive in order to keep them watching, Steve had to be the first one out otherwise the show was going to be pointless |
