I got addicted fast when I started watching. But, be aware that, as we're into the fifth season now (with a sixth and seventh confirmed), you might think the mysteries are dragged out a bit now and then.

I still think it's worth it, though. As far as I know, Season 7 is planned to be the final season (Lucy Hale apparently suggested so anyway) and I think having an end date set really helps with a show like this. I hope Season 7 is the final season anyway. As much as I love PLL and will miss it when it's over, it needs to end at some point.

My theory is that Mona isn't dead (we never saw a body, did we?). And Mona asked miked to put on a blonde wig and "attack" her. She knew they would find the video eventually. She wanted Alison to get the blame, but Mona wanted to get away, so she did what she told Alison to do and pretended to be dead. When it comes to all the blood in her house, it wouldn't be surprising if Mona found a way to get her blood everywhere

And Mike left the sweets for Mona at the lake because he's the only that knows the truth.

I read some spoilers (which tbh i think are complete bull**** but i'll spoiler them just incase they're real) and apparently

Spoiler:

the girls are kidnapped by A in the season finale and are forced to act out weird scenerios in this life sized doll house


it's actually so dumb i could see it being something the writers would come up with
