Thankyou Ammi, have been doing a fair bit of drawing during lockdown, trying some new stuff too.

Aw thank you so much both for the nice comments - only just saw!

I'm setting myself a bit of a challenge next month, I've bought a LARGE canvas (40 x 32 inches) and am going to try and do some realism on it with a portrait. I've decided on the subject and found a great photograph to work from. Drawing the linework up tonight ready to being painting - might start August 1st and see how long it takes me doing a few hours every single day.

Planning on recording the whole painting process as a timelapse too - my sister has kindly allowed me to use her spare bedroom to paint it in! Excited...

I once helped build a sculpture that was commissioned by Kenyatta for his home.
I heard he was very happy with it

It is a huge (I guess 20ft) sculpture of Samburu Warrior that is apparent now in his entrance hall.
I was just helping a friend out when visiting Kenya. Following her artistic direction lol.

Stunning work.

You must have a lot of storage space to do work of that size.

Thank you! Oh... That's the worrying part - I didn't think it through so I'm going to have to stash it somewhere safe until I [hopefully] sell it. Thankfully my sister has a spare room at hers so it'll be fine in there. :hehe:
