Why would you think that?

If anything I think we will see it increase slightly. The 2nd show is usually lower due to people thinking its a repeat and tonight is a live show.

Exactly tonight could be really good

Personal reasons to be honest, there not keeping us up to date from 9pm one night to the next night, also theyve dumped youtube videos i cant be assed going on there website to keep me up to date on there videos i only used youtube so im really feeling the lack of news this year, but i forgot theres a live show tonight so hopefully a spike in raitings tonight fingers crossed.

I think ratings will do just fine and have a slight increase as these next few days go on.

I'm annoyed at the lack of YouTube updates on the BB page though. How can they be so blind to alienate a good portion of people who enjoyed watching those videos daily. It's really not that hard to have the same person uploading videos on the site to upload them on YouTube too.

Samm 09-01-2015 02:46 PM

Good, considering the other TV on last night

*mazedsalv** 09-01-2015 03:05 PM

I don't know if it will hold though. To be fair, I know the first HL show is always a lot of a repeat, but usually the next episodes after always drop. A lot of the time, the first HL show is the highest rated, except for the launch and final.

Last nights episode wasn't exactly the most exciting, so I hope it doesn't plummet. Tonight it's all out and the live noms are happpening so I am hoping for it to be 2.5m+. Time for us to do some of our own promotion!

If we still get this oohing and ahing over the subject of Big Brother from Viacom after this series it'll well and truly be proven that Big Brother is purely *****d out for ratings.

Cbb is fine its the civilian version that has struggled on channel 5.

mrmattybeck1 10-01-2015 09:37 AM

Any numbers yet

mrmattybeck1 10-01-2015 10:02 AM

#CelebrityBigBrother continued with 2.31m/10.0% at 9pm. It just beat #8OutOf10CatsDoesCountdown, which averaged 2.21m/9.6%. Not bad

Will. 10-01-2015 10:13 AM

Decent rating, it beat CBB 13 which got 2.33 but a 9% share overnight and the second CBB 13 highlight show was on a Sunday. Does that include the nominations? And +1 one?

Nominations was a separate programming don't know what that got it does include plus one

*mazedsalv** 10-01-2015 10:26 AM

Those are very decent, especially when compared to the other three winter series.

It beat CBB9s 2nd highlight show AND first Friday show.
CBB11s first Friday received 2.0m.
CBB13s 2nd highlight show received 2.33m (so only 20k down on that).

Will. 10-01-2015 10:38 AM

Here are all the second over night ratings! From CBB 9 - 14
CBB 14 - 1.96m 9.7%

CBB 13 - 2.33 9%

CBB 12 - 1.43m/6.6%

CBB 11 - 2.07million (9.3%)

CBB 10 - somewhere between 1.77 and 2 millions (According to CBB10 TIBB rating thread)

CBB 9 - 2m

CBB 8 - N/A (could not find)

So CBB 15 got the highest second overnight rating on Channel 5, unless CBB 8 was higher.

Other shows at 9PM got

Benidorm - 4.83 20.9%
The Three Musketeers - 3.64 15.8%
8 Out Of Ten Cats - 2.21 9.6%
So it came third in its slot unless BBC 2 was higher

And it beat BBC ONE! I swear it never beats BBC one?

CBB8 did beat it, but to be fair, it was still riding off with the huge launch figure of 5.3m it got. It was getting 2.8m+ up until the first Saturday, and then it went pair shaped and dropped as low as 2.0m for regular episodes.

But I know its early, but if we were to compare the first 3 day averages...

CBB13- 2.57M
CBB15- 2.71M

But again, to be fair, CBB13 had a Saturday by now, we haven't yet. And tonights rating will ruin it!

Rob! 10-01-2015 01:09 PM

Not bad tbh it wasn't really advertised and I suspect people switched off as soon as the noms were over which was in the first half wasn't it?

It was just like live feed.

That's a really good rating for BOTS especially when you compare it to similar shows like the Xtra Factor which was going as low as 200k last year.

Wounder if people would actually watch live feed if we had it daily

Jarrod 10-01-2015 01:29 PM

One thing you have to say is that BOTS has an extremely strong following for a spin-off show considering The Xtra Factor and Get Me Out Of Here Now get 300k

Bots is better than the former two didn't used to be

Will. 10-01-2015 01:38 PM

The live moms was basically live feed, it was so obvious they had planned a twist then because Katie wasn't up they couldn't do it. But great rating for the highlight show, second best 3 highlight show on channel 5.

mrmattybeck1 10-01-2015 01:39 PM

Live from the house got 400k last night 11.30-12.15
