It's his choice to believe though, I think a normal person would be suspicious of anything Nikki had to say if they saw her slating him in a VT but his own arrogance won't allow him to see the forest for the trees.

Suggestion means nothing if someone doesn't believe it. She's taking him down in the right way. It's better to let someone be the architect of their own destruction than to victimise them ad nauseum aka the Helen method.

An ego Nikki decided to further inflate for her own fun in the first place which makes her 10 times worse surely. Nikki has a cruel streak no matter how she is painted. She should have explained to Jack later that it was just a bit of fun rather than take it that little bit too far.

While I agree sort of she's feeding his ego by pretending he's hugely popular just to embarress him which I thinks a bit mean seeing as he has a good reason to believe her. He won after a week and he's been told by the 'legends' and Marc he has fans.

As I said though he is deluded but I still think it's a little mean spirited.

It's just well known that all good jokes are at someone's expense. If that makes you uncomfortable you probably are a bit humourless.

They all have ego's in there or they wouldn't be there in the first place, Nikki's ego is the biggest and I doubt she would see the funny side if the roles were reversed.

No I don't agree that everyone has that cruel streak, but let's say you are right there, then some are worse than others and others know when not to take it too far. And if that humourless aside is a dig at me, you are far from the truth there. I like to believe my moral compass and compasionate side makes me know when a line needs to be drawn.
