TBF to your mum, I don't think eating one month expired peanut butter would kill you. If it's more than 3 months then I'd be worried. But I was cackling @ when you mentioned prison sentences and killing the homeless people

I had an image of Phoebe McQueen when she was going through her homeless era keeled over dead in a street.

Dollface's review of SCREAM

Slashers aren't really my favourite type of horrors, but Scream is one of the best (if not THE best) slasher film i've ever seen over the years. There's something really fun about the movie.
The opening is especially great, when Drew Barrymore () is being quizzed by the mystery killer on the phone. Straight away there's a creepy vibe, especially if you put yourself in her shoes, being home alone and having some weirdo call you on the phone asking about your favourite scary movie :worry:

All of the actors and actresses are convincing and give great performances. The characters were all interesting - Especially Billy (:flutter:) who despite being a psychopath is totally gorgeous and someone I ended up rooting for.

It's not perfect, it could have been better (creepier :fist:) but since it's a teen movie I wasn't expecting proper scares anyway

The storyline is really intriguing. I love mysteries and Scream is a bloody good mystery the first time you watch it. I was happy with the killer reveal

So overall I think Scream is a really good film and worthy of a ... 8/10

Dollface 01-10-2015 11:11 PM

I'm excited for Urban Legend  haven't seen that in years

Daniel-X 01-10-2015 11:12 PM

I'm most looking forward to prom night tbh never seen the original before only the remake oh and house of wax because I've never seen it

Scream review

The film is a master of creating suspense and tense scenes. The characters are brilliant, especially Sidney.

The whole plot is intriguing and engages the viewer, it really captivates you.

The opening scene is iconic and really emphasises what a serial killer can do, it is also incredibly sad which a lot of slasher movies fail to do.

The killers identity is good, they were chosen wisely and they make great killers, realistic as well.

It can be a little dull in parts but the suspense and drama is never long away.

It would have be interesting to have a female killer but then it's the 90s, Gale is brilliant in the film, a great character.

The length of the film is perfect, it really is an iconic horror film, a true heritage to horror culture.

Jason. 01-10-2015 11:16 PM

Prom night is brilliant. It has what I consider to be one of the best ever chase scenes. It's like 9 minutes long.

Dollface 01-10-2015 11:17 PM

House of Wax is so good <3

I shall be perched

Dollface 01-10-2015 11:17 PM

I'm excited for Prom Night too, I haven't seen the original either

Will. 01-10-2015 11:17 PM

I've not seen Prom Night

Daniel-X 01-10-2015 11:18 PM

I wish we were watching the original when a stranger calls because I HATE the remake and I watched it not that long ago so I may not watch it.

I really wish the hand that rocks the cradle was on this list its one of my favourite horror movies

Jason. 01-10-2015 11:18 PM

Daniel-X 01-10-2015 11:19 PM

Yeah it seems reviewers agree with me on the when a stranger calls remake tbh

Dollface 01-10-2015 11:21 PM

There's a couple on the list that I might miss out (:worry:)

Jason. 01-10-2015 11:21 PM

I like the When A Stranger Calls remake. It's actually one of the better modern horror films imo. I need to watch it again though, as I haven't seen it in years.

Jason. 01-10-2015 11:22 PM

Same Bex.

I'm not going to watch Black Christmas. That's one I like to save for Christmas season, so I don't want to ruin it by watching it two months earlier.

Daniel-X 01-10-2015 11:23 PM

I think I'll watch them all just for the fun of it tbh and most are actually quite decent films tbh. I won't be watching when a stranger calls though because I can't out myself through that again it's that boring and painful.

The hand that rocks the cradle >>>>>>>

The hand that rocks the cradle should replace it tbh

Will. 01-10-2015 11:23 PM

I might watch the original Stranger Calls instead of remake as haven't seen it.

Jason. 01-10-2015 11:24 PM

I love the trailer for the original

Daniel-X 01-10-2015 11:25 PM

I have decided I may watch the hand that rocks the cradle on the night when we're meant to be watching when a stranger calls. You never know Cal may change for us the schedule hopefully :fc:

Will. 01-10-2015 11:26 PM

looks good
