The stripping during BB2 and BB3 and "Follow the van", BB5 naked jacuzzi, Shell running around with her fanny out, naked mud wrestling, sucking of nipples The BB6 orgies that used to take place in BB6, sex in the pool, tounging each other every minute of the day (boy on boy, girl on girl, boy on girl).

Please guys... C5 is CBBC compared to C4.

I just orgasmed over this post

Nobody claimed it was ever high brow but the utter contempt for the audience they display now is far ahead of anything you mentioned. The way they choose the housemates which is now widely accepted as "a cast" with cross promotion of other shows they own even to the extent the tasks they do are based on the show that is on next is trash on another level to what you have described.

The show is now dumbed down so much to suit the trash that watch their other crap that it saddens me.

As for Daniel trying to use downton abbey as a comparison well we all know thats just so daft i wont even bother replying to him he is"target" material.

Digital Spy has given up on posting ratings for anything for the last week, so we need to depend on broadcast now.

Broadcast is very reliable but they have their ratings rounded, so to one decimal point but that doesn't matter really! Good news on the ratings front though...

Celebrity Big Brother: 2.5m (11.4%) inc. +1

Highest rated since launch, look at that share! 2nd in it's slot thrashing ITV by 1.2m!

*mazedsalv** 21-01-2016 12:11 PM

Channel 5:
Celebrity Big Brother- 2.1m (9.4%)
10,000 BC Two Tribes- 619,000 (3.9%)

That is TERRIBLE for 10000BC. On positives though, I am pretty sure that the CBB rating is up there with one of the best ever ratings it has gotten against the NTAs. Pretty sure it has always gone sub 2m (well bar last year which i think got 2.3m).

You just did respond to me dumbass.

God why do you even watch the show I think Channel 5 CBB are actually far superior to Channel 4 entertainment wise.

Great rating for last night especially up against the NTA'S.

I think the only way is up from here its got a strong following again.

Glad it's getting 2 million overnight

*mazedsalv** 22-01-2016 09:18 AM

Last night's ratings: Celebrity Big Brother increased significantly to 2.35m (10.6%) excluding +1, the most watched episode since launch night.

Oh wow! That will be around 2.6m with +1!!!

Mrmattybeck 22-01-2016 09:24 AM

Brilliant rating this series is recovering nicely [emoji4]

Celebrity Big Brother- 2.6m (11.6%)
10,000BC- 720,000 (4.6%)

Fantastic for CBB! Highest since launch, just 200k down from launch. 10,000BC still looks bad but it was up over 100k from the opener on Wednesday.

Possibility of a 3.1/3.2 million official there.

I had a feeling this series would grow and its really good to see it doing so well.

Yep, considering it was ~700k down from CBB15 in the first few days in comparison to what the same episodes of CBB15 got, it is now getting similar ratings. Just to note that CBB15 on Thursday got a 2.6m three times.

I do however think it will drop after tonight for some reason, i think like CBB15 the series is a few days too long and settle back to the ~2.2m-2.3m range (which will still make it around 2.7-2.8m officially anyway).

It was also 100k away from Jericho on ITV which was hyped so much before it started!

I think it will sustain viewers tbh they are gonna pull out a twist or something soon can just feel it in my waters lol.

Whats with these rumours about Nick Grimshaw going in though?

Random.

Agreed. But tbh it was a little worrying at the start of this series. It launched with 2.8m, fell to 2.2m the next day and 2m the next. So to have it back to 2.4-2.6m levels is fantastic.

Word of mouth is still strong promotion!

I think it was the cast reveal before launch that harmed ratings hope they don't do that again :(

So is this a case of TV viewership decline or what?

It still feels like everybody's watching this series - even though the ratings are down on last year.

Ross. 23-01-2016 10:29 AM

Cal. 23-01-2016 10:31 AM

Jake. 23-01-2016 11:18 AM

Jason. 23-01-2016 11:33 AM

I haven't been keeping up with the ratings in days, but looking at the last few posts, it seems to be growing which is really good. :clap2:
