Not this turning into a BBAU discussion thread.

Jason you're hardly one to speak about threads going wildly off-topic

Exactly. Which is why I'm shocked I'm not the cause of it this time :hee:

Now make a joke about both of them deciding to have considerable size reductions in 2004 or kindly exit

I somehow doubt we're getting a May launch then if this happens. Unless half the housemates are builders and the tasks involve getting the house finished.

Wasn't there a launch where the housemates all had to put the furniture together themselves?

I prefer a June launch tbh since May launches always clash with exam seasons :fist: Whereas the June ones are just as the exams are finishing.

Are they getting rid of the current garden and re jigging the house or just plonking another house next door?

zakman440 03-02-2016 03:42 PM

I've been reading through the plans again and this honestly sounds bloody brilliant. A two story house is something that a lot of people have wanted for a while, so it'll be great to have that with the new extension on the house. The fact that they're also building a separate eviction studio will be brilliant as well - finally, the crowd won't be able to ruin any more interviews :clap1:. Outside the house, it looks like they're going for a BB11-type eviction set (walkway in front of the house rather than between the crowd), which should look quite good. All in all, it all looks fantastic and has given me a bit of hype for the summer!

Now if only you could explain it in baby steps to those of us who have no clue what all those drawings mean

Jake. 03-02-2016 04:22 PM

I loved BB11's exterior because of how massive the crowd looked so I'd be here for it

.

(well I didn't love it but it'd be the best layout for them to go with given the dwindling size of the crowd these days)

Would they actually be able to get enough people to fill the space anymore though? I always thought BB11 got a big turn out due to it being "the last series ever"

TomC 03-02-2016 05:42 PM

Well I don't imagine they'll lose the stands and that takes up a lot of space

Glenn. 03-02-2016 05:58 PM

By the looks of the drawings we'd lose a lot of the crowd area which isn't a problem tbh

Jason. 03-02-2016 06:27 PM

Ik this won't happen like ever but I wish we had something like this again

http://oi60.tinypic.com/30vlt11.jpg

(but nnn at how basic that set looks compared to our current one and the BB11 one )

Marsh. 03-02-2016 06:44 PM

Open space where it doesn't look like the presenter is strolling through a building site of metal scaffolding. :clap1:

The shows more upmarket now than it was in 2010, at least that's the case with CBB. For cbb13, 15 & 17 I reckon they could get considerably large crowds if they could although my gut feeling is that cbb17 is the last series of the modern golden era (cbb13, 15 & 17).

lol what?

Samm 03-02-2016 07:09 PM

I don't care if there's less crowd space, all I want is to look at somethin different

Marsh. 03-02-2016 07:10 PM

No but seriously, 2010 had Queen Stephanie Beacham and Ivana Trump.

CLASS! :hmph:

Jason. 03-02-2016 07:12 PM

Also the closest we've had to a golden era on 5 was June 2013-January 2014, where BB14 and CBB13 aired.
