Also...

Donald Trump has a copy of Hitler's speeches. There's nothing wrong with that, I also have a copy and although its not something I'd read on the tube, if you want to understand what made Hitler such a successful orator, then its a good book to study.

Trump just like Hitler, adds a lot of animation to his speeches. Also like Hitler, his hands are never still as he communicates his ideas and just like Hitler, his facial expressions are well practised. Trumps charisma, the very thing that excites his followers, is something he likely got out of that book. Hitler is famous for enthralling his audience and there's very few people the world over who can do that. A big part of Hitlers speeches were about making Germany great again and this is something Trump does in virtually every speech he's made.

Like I said before, all the other republicans are at least as bad as Trump, I mean, they all think like him but they're not quite brave enough to say it like it is and they are far too modest to suggest they want to make America great again. Because of the artful way, and I mean that in a complimentary way, that Trump can deliver his speech, that in itself has allowed him to unleash and have accepted, what was formerly unspoken about. If you want a nation on your side, you have to give them something they really want and that's what he's been able to do and he's done it in Hitler style.

The problem with that is, for all those who aren't enamoured with him, they will see his words, his well practised facial expressions; his expressive body language and hand waving and of course his forthright speech as a mirror image of Hitler. Many people are bound to find this disturbing, but once you understand that he's merely taken lessons from one of the best orators in the world, then you can understand why he's got such a huge following.

Maybe she has, maybe that's daves 'big society' too.

the truth 07-03-2016 06:22 PM

love the hypocrisy of the politics of envy and hate within radical liberals/ socialists and communists.....lets see where their great leaders have gotten them>? an incredible array of war mongering mass murdering depsot dictators , many of whom have killed way more people than even adolf hitler and ALL of them billionaires...from the king jon Korean dynasty, to Mubarak and his 50 billion eqyptian fortune, putin worth 70 odd billion, mao , the biggest mass murderer in history worth billions too, uncle jo stalin, the 2nd biggest killer ever, tony blairs mate ghadaffi was the richest of all worth 200 billion, he was pretty much the richest man in the world , even castro is a billionaire as his country crumbles....makes poor old tony blair with his 1 million dead and his £60 million look like a pauper.....ah socialism and communism fair play its been a worldwide disaster , they always run out of others people money and dictators are always created who take millions and billions for themselves. as the masses starve or get butchered.. But those madcap hardline liberal keep worshipping this insane illogical ideology, it never adds up but they still keep the blind faith lol and they mock religious people for having blind faith lol

DemolitionRed 07-03-2016 06:26 PM

Well if she hasn't she should. Whilst Hitler was a monster, he knew how to give a very good speech. Apparently he studied and practised those speeches for years prior to giving them, so it may be a bit late for Hillary.

Like I said though, all the republicans are racist bigots.

So your argument is 'Yeah, he sounds a bit of a Nazi BUT SO IS THIS OTHER PERSON WHO IS UNRELATED TO THE THREAD IN QUESTION!'

DemolitionRed 07-03-2016 07:22 PM

Never thought I'd agree with anything Boris said!

The attack ads have started and there will be plenty more before the convention

At the debate a few days ago the moderator Megan Kelly corrected Trump on something he said about Trump University getting an A grade from USA's Better Business Bureau; its last official grade was a D-. I remember when Candy Crowley corrected Mitt Romney in 2012 when he said something completely incorrect about the Benghazi attacks; she was roundly criticized in the press and a few months later resigned. Not much has been said to criticize Megan Kelly.

Would it not have been cheaper to put a credible candidate up against him?

The candidates are very credible in GOP terms. They take money from big business, don't give a f&&k about their constituents and make sure their rich benefactors get their own way. Its the way its always been done. :pipe:

Marco Rubio meets with Rupert Murdoch, Rush LImbaugh and Roger Ailles in 2012 to try and pass an immigration bill. The guy is an embarrssment to any honest politician. He is as bad a candidate as Trump but he's got the establshment money so gets away with it.

I think people are a bit too focused on Trump to see how evil the other GOP candidates are. Trumps ideas are a bit too wild to be implemented but the other candidates, who are equally abhorrent especially Cruz and Rubio, have been doing their dirty deeds around Washington for a few years.

It's a thread about a Republican nominee winning some states in a Republican primary. Hillary Clinton is a Democrat, it's silly to bring her into this thread at this point, especially when it's just to take a shot at someone for having a different opinion.

Since they have nothing to do do with it at all,it is not even a thread about anything to do with British politics anyway.
