I mostly just wanted KimWard to do better than Nicola and they have done :D I am not so fussed if they make runners up as that is really good placing :)

That's one way of looking at it :) Out of those finalists, if one of them had to pip them to the post apart from Kim, then Coleen was the best of the rest of a bad bunch I suppose, so that softens the blow a bit for Jedward making runners up.

am only half Irish, from dad, plus a bit more from mom's parents, so yes, understand - ...but Coleen is still in denial about stuff she said in the garden :(
Jedward didn't win, but I felt they deserved to for their openness, reality (which is not the games/fun they did, but other stuff, in which they were so real and vulnerable), and yet wasn't keen on them before but liked Coleen - so, there ya go.
