Not gonna lie it'd make my night if people were expecting a legend to return for the SD women's match and this music hits

LaLaLand 08-03-2017 02:00 PM

Paige probably won't be cleared to return until June/July from what I've read so doubt it.

I'm here for it Jordan, so bad she's epic.

Jordan. 08-03-2017 02:01 PM

Her voice over guy doing her entrance at WM would be everything

Calderyon 08-03-2017 02:03 PM

She is going to have to do a lot more "sucking" in the backstage if she wants to have a chance to return.

LaLaLand 08-03-2017 02:03 PM

The more I think about the more I'd be here for Eva stealing the victory at Mania (assuming she's in) - just for the pure reaction from the fans! Brilliant.

Denver 08-03-2017 02:11 PM

They are already pissing fans off with the likes of Reigns so doubt they will go further

Denver 08-03-2017 02:14 PM

According to the report, Matt & Jeff were supposedly spotted in Pittsburgh last week which has led to a great deal of speculation that they were in town for their WWE physicals. This has yet to be confirmed or denied, but it would be an odd move considering they've just won the ROH World Tag Team Championships and look set to be involved with other promotions over WrestleMania weekend.

The ROH titles certainly throw a spanner into the works

What's next?Fans will continue to speculate over the coming days and weeks as to what Matt & Jeff's next move will be, with a lot of people thinking that they'll show up at The Showcase of the Immortals. As of right now, that seems unlikely, but as we've come to learn in the wrestling business you should never say never.
Sportskeeda's takeNo matter how difficult it may be, we just want to see The Hardys back in WWE again. Sure it'd be incredibly different from their previous runs, but they're one of the most influential tag teams in the history of the business and they deserve to showcase themselves on the big stage one last time. We'd personally prefer to see Matt go off on his own, allowing Jeff to return to his Charismatic Enigma gimmick that got him so over with the crowd. Who knows, perhaps a world title run could be in the future of one or both men.

Denver 08-03-2017 02:14 PM

Broken Matt as World Heavyweight Champion and Jeff as Universal would make my life

Denver 08-03-2017 02:15 PM

I think Matt would try to get his wife as part of the deal if it were to happen

Denver 08-03-2017 04:04 PM

Oh the SD Womens title is a battle royal i was hoping it would be a scramble/elimination type match

Roman would certainly thank her as he wouldn´t be the most hated superstar in the building anymore.

Black Dagger 08-03-2017 04:17 PM

Reigns will just have to put on ANOTHER 4* match.

If they rehearse and plan this well enough it could be brilliant, lots of good spots and not a cluster F that can sometimes happen. I'm just glad all of the SD! girls are involved because they certainly all deserve a match at Mania after excelling as a division since the Draft.

It could be used as a rehearsal for a female RR tbh

Denver 08-03-2017 06:47 PM

HHH and Finn Balor are both returning to action next week

Denver 08-03-2017 06:49 PM

Victoria and Kelly Kelly are rumoured for the SD Womens title battle royal

Denver 08-03-2017 06:51 PM

What’s the story?
On this week’s SmackDown, Daniel Bryan announced that Alexa Bliss would be defending her Smackdown Women’s Championship against every available woman on the roster.CagesideSeats reports that there is hope that Naomi and Eva Marie will be able to return by WrestleMania; which is why the title match is open ended. In case you didn’t know...Naomi injured her knee during her title win against Alexa Bliss at the Elimination Chamber pay per view and was originally diagnosed to miss two months of action; which in turn would mean that she would miss WrestleMania in her hometown of Orlando. As for Eva Marie, she has been very busy with filming movies, and the hope is that her schedule opens up in time for WrestleMania for her to be included in the match as well.

The heart of the matter
There is also talk of past WWE Superstars Victoria and Kelly Kelly returning to have a role at WrestleMania. Having the Women’s Championship match being open ended not only gives WWE the flexibility to include Naomi and Eva Marie if they are able to appear, but they can include these returning stars as well.

What’s next?
Daniel Bryan didn’t give a whole lot of detail on this week’s SmackDown regarding the match. Fans can expect those details to be further fleshed out possibly on next week’s SmackDown. Rumor has it that the match will be a battle royal, but it could very well be an elimination match or even a ladder match.

Denver 08-03-2017 06:51 PM

Imagine an 8-10 Woman ladder match :flutter:

LaLaLand 08-03-2017 10:28 PM

DEF here for Victoria!! Crazy, heel Victoria... not total joke Victoria.

Kelly meh. Never been a fan.

Denver 09-03-2017 11:13 AM

Kairi Hojo of Stardom has signed with WWE

Denver 09-03-2017 11:13 AM

Rumour is she will get a call up straight to the main rooster

Denver 09-03-2017 11:14 AM

It was reported in the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Kairi Hojo has indeed signed a three-year contract with WWE. It is also important to note that the report stated that Io Shirai was said to be reconsidering signing with the worldwide leader in sports entertainment.

Denver 09-03-2017 11:22 AM

There is another possibility that was not mentioned in the report. Asuka is scheduled to defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Ember Moon at Takeover: Orlando the night before WrestleMania. If the intention is for Asuka to get called up to Smackdown! Live after WrestleMania anyway, we don’t see why she wouldn’t be a surprise entrant in this match.

Black Dagger 09-03-2017 11:40 AM

Terrible idea.

LaLaLand 09-03-2017 02:43 PM

I would lose my mind if Io Shirai signed also. She and Kairi are probably the best women's wrestlers in the world atm but I believe Io and Asuka don't get along.
