Secondly, I just don't get why anyone cares about how many people others have slept with? Why does it matter and why does it define what kind of person they are? Similarly if you wouldn't want to do that yourself that's fine, that's your personal preference. Why do we need to judge people for what goes on in people's private lives (I realise on a TV show it's shared but that's beside the point)?

What disheartens me the most is that it's usually women who level these insults at other women. Is the patriarchal order really that bad that you're using misogynistic insults towards members of your own sex? It just makes me despair.

Looking back on it now I can't believe we didn't ban people for their attitudes in there actually. I often get shocked at just how horrible members can be when I look at old threads.
