It's the least watched CBB eviction ever, by over 180k

RileyH 12-08-2017 01:09 PM

If it did stick to 9pm everynight instead of moving around all the time then I do think it may have decent figures. They need to stop planning the show around times like the athletics which are losing the show viewers and I'm dreading tonight's figures.

It would have been at around 1.3m-1.4m if it was on as normal like the last 4 days has been.

Greg! 12-08-2017 01:38 PM

Tonight's ratings will be a mess with it being on 5star

The deluded Trisha stans will probably think her leaving caused the ratings to drop :skull:

Jodie. 12-08-2017 01:43 PM

Mess I though CBB got 509k then, so the rating it got seems good to me now :joker:

But yeah the scheduling is *****ing ridiculous

Going to be a weird weekend, so I'm going to say...

5* at 9pm- 212k
Channel 5 at 10:30pm- 707k

Would this be added together? They can't just count C5 in the ratings surely because it would essentially be a repeat? Or will they count it like they count +1? So 5* and C5?

As for tomorrow- 1.28m.

And then back to 1.30m-1.35m for the rest of the week.

Greg! 12-08-2017 03:51 PM

I'm predicting 600k on 5star and 700k on C5, so 1.3m in total.

Oaker 12-08-2017 03:52 PM

5* will probably get like 150k or something

But what I don't get, how will they calculate the ratings? It wouldn't be fair either way surely? If they add the two showing together, it will come out more and i'm pretty sure the likes of Hollyoaks to not add their E4 First look ratings to the C4 ratings.

But then the other way, it wouldn't be fair just to include c5 showing and completely not count 5*. So when the ratings are being released, will it be something like:

1.07m (5* and C5 combined) or 200k on 5* and 800k on C5 (thus only counting C5?)

Perhaps, 5* does very badly usually.

supertv247 12-08-2017 10:14 PM

I just hope they release both, 5star isn't a main channel and almost never has its ratings released

RileyH 12-08-2017 10:45 PM

guessing:
5* 250k
C5 680k

MOB: 511k

pontyboi 12-08-2017 11:06 PM

Are they testing the waters to move bb to 5*?

I hope not... but this is the EXACT same thing they done with Wentworth before moving it

RichardG 13-08-2017 07:09 AM

i can't see them paying to run the show only to air it on 5*

has anyone outside of this forum ever even heard of it

That's what I thought about too. Regular BB on 5* and CBB on Channel 5. When Channel 5 picked up the show, I remember reading that they didn't even want regular BB at all but just CBB. Looking at the overnight BB18 ratings, 800k on Channel 5 for BB is crap but 800k on 5* would be huge. Obviously though not everyone would make the switch but even 600k for a channel like 5* would be a hit.

But I think if they were really testing the waters, they would have moved a few episodes of BB18 to 5* exclusively (with no repeat on Channel 5) to see how it would rate. I think this might just be them trying to respond to the complaints that the 10:30pm episodes are too late. But that thought did cross my mind.

supertv247 13-08-2017 09:17 AM

Celebrity Big Brother including +1

Channel 5star - 381k (2% at 9pm)
Channel 5 - 593k (4.3% at 10:30)

CBB altogether - 974K

Jodie. 13-08-2017 09:57 AM

Wouldn’t be against 5* tbh, just needs good promotion

lewis111 13-08-2017 10:00 AM

I'd have had no idea it was on 5* if it wasn't for the forum so that rating isn't awful
But CBB should never be getting less than 1m
